HIGH POINT — Guilford County deputies filed more charges against a High Point man arrested Monday in connection with dog fighting, according to a news release.

On Monday, deputies served a narcotics search warrant on Travis Lamont Timberlake, 31, of 1024 Grace St., Apt. B, according to the release. Investigators found heroin and marijuana at the home, Guilford Sheriff*s Col. Randy Powers said.

Deputies also found videos showing Timberlake conducting dog fights, Powers said.
Timberlake was initially charged with two counts of dog fighting, but evidence led deputies to charge Timberlake with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver controlled substances, felon in possession of a firearm and seven counts of dog fighting, according to the release.

Timberlake posted $185,000 bail and was released.
