Hey rajenn,

I didn't see where you are from, is english your native language? If it's not, I appologize, maybe your not as simple as you come off. If you are an english speaker, so is the sate of our education system, huh... My best wishes for your children may be in vain.

In all honesty with no insults, you sir, should NOT own the dog. Now I wont personally attack you, I'll just speak on the situation.

You obviously have not been raising the dog correctly. food aggresion should have already been dealt with WELL before a pup reaches 7 months.

Also Jelets advice may not be the "worst" advice ever, and it "may" work. But i would NEVER, NEVER in a million years advocate using your CHILD as training equipment. This dog has already shown a predisposition to bite. And especially being a BULLDOG, he's NOT predispositioned to GIVE WARNING. So following Jelets advice could possibly lead to an attack on your child. If you EVER were going to try the situations jelet described you would need INFINETE more safty measures then he mentioned (I mean he didn't even tell you to collar or leash the thing).

Are you REALLY going to risk your childrens well being to save a DOG thats ALREADY bitten???

PLEASE, seriously, get that dog into someone's hands who CAN train it. If your serious about raising a dog, simply e-mail me and give me your basic info.

I (yes me with NO goddamn interest in this dog at all) will put in the finger walking to find you a reasonably priced dog trainer in your area. I'm sure I can do so pretty quickly, as you could have if you were responsible and serious about keeping this dog.

1)You get that dog into a home that can train it.
2) You go get some reaserch done on how to train a dog.
3) e-mail me your info, and I'll find you a trainer
4) e-mail me some info YOU'VE found through actual research on how to deal with aggresion, and how to do basic obedience.

and

5) I'll send you a dog bred better than anything you've ever touched, on MY dime. You just have to have the obedience classes paid for in advance.

Hows that sound...? You show ew your NOT the idiot I already know you are, and I'll give you the prettiest, best bred bulldog you'll ever put your hands on? sound fair?

Well,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I'll let the little brain insults slide... I'm sure you've got an IQ so sky high I'd need to get a pair of binoculars to see it sitting on my little IQ...

I never claimed to be "better" or "smarter" then you, just infinetly more educated and experienced, and able to use "common" sense.

My offer still stands.

also if you read the previous posts, this aggression started recently. when he was a pup, he was fine.

I'm from Mass. U-mass Minutemen...

Anyway.

The fact that the aggresion SHOWED up recently still just shows u were not taking the correct steps to deal with it in the first place.

I've NEVER had a food aggresive dog, because from day 1 when they get to my house they learn its MY food, they get it when I want to give it to them, and I'll take it away when I want.

You should have been having your whole family handle him WHILE EATING, while chewing on bones, taking said things away and giving them back, when he was TOO YOUNG to do anything but accept it. He would have known by the time he was 7 months, that food is given freely when he behaves, and even u TAKING the food away only means he doesnt get it THIS SECOND, not "OMG where's my food going"...

That's the biggest thing, issues that "pop up", DIDNT pop up. they were never PRE-ADDRESSED.

You may know a crap ton about game dogs, you may be able to condition a dog better then I, heck maybe even breed winners better. BUT you don't know the basics of raising a dog (not an insult, just what I see). And it sadens me how many "dog men" can tell you how to condition a dog, but don't know the simplest things about raising a pup, animal husbandry or getting a dog to respond to you.

And YES, I AM an A-hole, but I'm an a-hole thats right! LOL And I'm also an a-hole who's willing to give you a damn nice dog if your willing to move up from (IMO) ignorant owner who means well, to RESPONSIBLE owner who DOES well...

Ignorant: 1(a) having little knowledge, education, or experience.(b) lacking knowledge 2 showing lack of knowledge 3 unaware

Its obvious to everyone you are lacking knowledge in the area of rearing a pup and having him learn his role and bond with you.

This man is trying to help you, but you stilll want to argue. Like he said suck it up seek help and you can learn and get a good dog out of it it is a no brainer.

MinuteMan1979 Big Dog

The ignorant is the fact that your having issues, and not taking the CORRECT steps to deal with them.

Seriously taking advice from strangers who you have no clue how educated/experienced they are, is pretty ignorant, no???

Not having a game plan on how to properly raise a dog to PREVENT food aggresion issues is ignorant. Issues need to be addressed BEFORE they become problems.

Having a dog at 7 months start to display food aggresion, and not just dominance (according to your posts, I havn't seen said dog), SHOWS the ignorance of your training. Sure dominance can pop up in adolesence, but the "food" issue should have been WELL worked out by then.

Keeping a dog that bit its owner... ignorant.

Keeping that same dog in the house with your children, sorry but EXTREMELY ignorant.

Once I had my daughter, any dog she couldnt walk up to on the chain and take its bone, woulda been shot on the spot. That's not an accident I EVER want to deal with, and no PERSONAL POSSESION (a dog is just that, something for YOU to own and enjoy) is worth risking the health or well being of my child.

If you even concider the training methods Jelet said with your childern, I would concider that ignorant. I dont necessarily disagree with the "basics" of what he said all though I dont think the severity of the beating is necesarry. Thats part of the reason you address it before it comes up when he's 2 months old and you have 100% controll over him. you can dominate without "beating"...

so the whole process (as far as I can see) so far, has shown your ignorance in raising the pup...

So, there you have it. My explanation of why.

NOW onto more ignorance, your perfectly willing to let your children become attached to a BANNED dog, which very well may end up being siezed. ESPECIALLY if you try to handle it RESPONSIBLY and do the correct things like obedience training...

I love my bulldogs, but I wouldn't have one as a FAMILY pet in a society thats going to exterminate my childrens beloved pet... Ignorance???

My offer NO LONGER stands, unless you plan on leaving the UK, as I'm not sending any dog to the gas chambers soley for its breed.

Best of luck, and I still stick by my original statments, give the dog to someone who can handle it.

Kill that punk bitch, and get another one. If the same thing happens look at the other end of the leash. If you keep a dog like that around it is a liability, and another article waiting to happen.
