Hello,Ive just joined.I am genrally interested in dogs that are game.Ive only got Bull blood as part of lurcher breeding at the moment..its about 50/50 with Greyhound and they are pretty game as far as we can tell. thankyou Django

 

You mean they have prey drive right? Lurchers are not game dogs.

 

welcome django. Post up some pictures of your lurchers when you get time. I like to see the differences in them.

Since there's only one way to test if a dogs game I don't think you would have tested him.

 

lurchers chould have game blood in them but they are not game trust me ive had some and they are not at all like bulldogs

 

There mutts that's why u need not feed them waste off time and money

 

Get a mccool or Chinaman dog. From Tom garner or one from me cheap and game tested

harty bull x lurchers aint no game-dog but they certainly aint mutts either. some are well worth their feed .also the guy is in England so a little common sense prevails.

 

ah yes i see what you mean,thanks.What i mistakingly meant by game i suppose is there not minding being bitten by hunted quarry or drawing,but of course in the uk we are very restricted on what we can hunt anyway so all thats in days gone by.We did have a bull bitch a few years ago who only weighed about 25lb fit. I lost her and had never bred from her and you dont seem to see a nice little un like that unless its a show type.
