Sorry you post turned into a P!ssing match. Sometimes peoples own agendas get in the way of giving someone good information. A lot of this who did what name calling should have been made on a separate post or taken private instead of screwing up your original question. I personally don't know where you could get some pure or close to it Heinzl blood - but you will find that most of the original old school blood lines have been watered down with someones attempt to "better" the line or have been bred to untested stock. Somewhere out there is some good fairly pure stock w/ only an occasional cross to keep the blood honest, but most of this is kept private and not for general use by the public. Good luck on finding someone who will let you in on this. Oldtimers pedigrees might not have told the whole truth ... but their dogs did!
That's the difference between then and now - paper is just paper, but the dogs should be tried and true !!!
