Hand made leather collar

I decided to make a collar for my dog. My Dad does a little leather work so I got a tiny bit of instruction from him, but I did all the work.
The collar design was inspired by a collar off of a pic of GR CH Croata that I saw.

 

Nice, I can't use leather where I'm at but that's pretty sturdy looking collar. The rain and humidity here though have taught me to stay away from leather

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, typically I use nylon to, but thought a leather one would be a nice change. The color is sort of ugly now I agree, but I want mother nature to stain it the way she wants. I figure it might end up looking sort of cool.

 

Here's a quick update of the finished product. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Thanks Bea, yup 3". it tapers down to 2" for the hardware. It's actually more purple than the pick shows.
