an expert on fox news said the whale practiced the murder before he did it, which makes this premeditated. i think the orca should be charged with 1st degree murder and get the death penalty

I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if the whale did think this through. Very intelligent animals. But killed for what he did? No. This is a wild animal, when you work with a wild animal these are the risks you take.

and seaworld said they will not put the whale down. this is bullshit, and something needs to be done.

 

These animals should never be kept under these sort of conditions to begin with (and that includes a lot of zoos and circuses). Think about it, they're wild creatures that travel THOUSANDS of miles every year throughout the oceans of the world. They don't belong in big tanks performing stupid tricks for our entertainment. It's totally abnormal and this is the end result, someone gets killed or injured.
Someone already mentioned this, a killer whale is actually the world's largest dolphin. They travel in pods and KILL other dolphins, whales, seals and fish for food. They're highly developed predators and very intelligent.
If anyone of us were confined to our house all of our life and not allowed to leave, we'd probably end up losing our minds too. I've always felt real strongly about keeping WILD animals in captivity, very few people are knowledgeable enough to do it and are willing to accept the risks. Let's face it, a lot of money can be made off of these animals.
And if anyone tries to bring up a bullsh*t comparison to us owning dogs, house, cats, livestock etc, it's not the same thing. These are domesticated animals that thrive with human interaction.

 

damn right its all about money. thats why they wont euthanize or release this creature. and no one else will do anything because the parent companies are major contributors to the politicians. maybe we should start a pitbull advocacy and support the republican party... lol

He can tally up a few more kills for all i care, people shouldn't keep wild animals captive and treat them like there some kind of freak attraction, god only knows how many we have killed so for this one to take one back is no sweat off my back. People are like parasites, infesting every nook and cranny of this planet and destroying everything they come into contact with, like the f@cking plague. It's like the retards who go hiking up in the mountains and get killed by a mountain lion or a bear, then everyone say oh they need to do something about this, that animal needs to be put down, here's an idea stay the fuck out of there space and you won't have no issues, like there supposed to think oh theres one of those humans i best just leave him alone, get serious, now on the other hand you walk in your back yard and the there's a bear or mountain lion then be my guest shoot the f@cking thing...

 

They aren't saving these animals at all. They capture wild animals that swim the whole ocean and put em in tanks for people's entertainment. I am so surprised that this doesn't happen every single day at parks like this.

 

I agree with everyone so far. This morning I watching Good Morning America and some trainers on there were saying that it was probably the woman's ponytail that set him off :rolleyes:. How bout they just some out and speak the truth that these are wild animals and they should not be in a tiny tank, making money for humans and when they do kill someone its because they deserve it.

 

What part dont these people understand... that these are animals. I have no pitty to her.

 

No,the whale shouldn't be culled.Dieing is just a risk someone takes when they decide that's the job they want to do,same with tigers,lions,elephants etc.

 

Speaking of lions and tigers, that Sigfried and Roy (whatever the heck their names are?) duo in Vegas just about got killed by a tiger a year or two ago. Well one of them anyway. And they had been performing with these animals for years, same story again....making them do dumb tricks for the tourists.

Then you had that chimpanzee last year. Horribly mauls some lady. There's a video on youtube showing her now (the terrible injuries she sustained). Real sad. The examples are endless. Moral of the story: Don't FUNK around with wild animals.

 

Yeah that women lived not too far from me here in CT. The owner of that chimp was nuts! And on top of treating it like a human, she was giving it anti-depressant meds..then they wonder why shit happens:rolleyes:.
