I really can't do it Lee. I know looks has nothing to do with performance but I just can't stand to look at em. I figure why not when you could have both. An HK I could definetly do. Or a sig but they also make some really nice metal guns. I'm not sayin the springs are junk or that the guns are junk but I personally like an all metal gun a lot better. I know that glock makes the best polymer guns but I can't get past lookin at em. And if I get the chance, that bad guy comin in the house is gettin the twelve gauge OO;)

same here, 870 police magnum loaded with 000 sitting by my desk as we speak. i will never be without a good scattergun. as for the Glock, swallow your pride and give them a try. if you dont like it at least you can justify talkin trash on them.

I might look for a used one in the future and give it a shot. I used to keep triple ot but I couldn't find one with more than 10 pellets and I found OO with 15 and considering the small amount of difference in the size versus 5 more holes I switched. I do love every polymer gun I've owned but there's just something about that metal and the weight........ And that shiny stainless look, I love a 1911.

i love historical guns too. i own a couple, but if you think that when the shit hits the fan im grabbing an M1 Garand over my AR-15 your nuts. practical is smart, and will keep you alive.

And I'd be a little more likely to go try out a flock but I got two litter mates about to be born in two weeks that I'm savin up for and my wife is already bout to ring my neck for that one cause my daughter will be born like two weeks after the pups get here. And after that, I'm sure it's gonna be lock down for a while:eek:

I got nothing against a polymer Glock, I owned A G36 when they first came out. But I really just like Steel! Nothing feels better in my hands! I shot a buddys Kahr pm9 not long ago and really liked the feel of the little steel framed pistol, it had some weight to it for such a small gun. My girlfriend like's polymer guns and prefers them to steel. Different strokes for different folks I guess. She likes Taurus, and I cant figure out for the life of me why! I cant hit shit with with those Heinie sights on a Taurus pistol and they feel like toys to me as a lot of polymer guns do!
I will give Glock pistols props for reliability tho, and If I ever had to carry a plastic gun it would be a Glock!

I'm a Kalishnkov nut! Practicality , reliabilty, Sexy factor, and a blast to shoot! I just love um!
In a Shtf scenario I'm grabin my Converted Saiga 308 and 20 round magazines, The perfect gun in my opinion! Well maybe next to a Vepr in the same cal, but an M1 is also a solid weapon!
The only AR I would consider owning is a Stag arms model 8L piston driven carbine other than that I'll pass on the AR's

Daniel Defense and Noveske...they cost a little more, but its worth it. ive owned Bushmaster and DPMS, but found them to be a pain in the ass

You def. know your ARs! And since you are a Daniel Defense and Noveske fan, I can assume you must build them as well?

A few guys that I work with are huge fans of them.

As far as glocks and reliability go, they cant be beat. I say that as an s&w m&p owner. 1911's are nice but can be picky about ammo. I would like to own one eventually but i wouldnt carry it. It would be a safe queen.
AR15's. BCM is hard to beat if your looking for a milspec rifle. Colt is nice aswell but much more expensive than BCM. BCM is still a small company and their customer service is second to none. I would own stag for a plinker but i would never trust my life to one. QC is every thing for ar15's and most companies are lacking for a serious rifle.
