Guard dog mode

That's exactly right,I also carry a gun most all the time and honestly if a strange dog came charging up on me,if it got to close and presented what I seen as a threat,I'd be forced to shoot it.A total stranger don't know that the dog isn't going to bite and isn't going to wait until the dog's on them to find out.

 

Does anyone actually know how to make your dogs into guard dogs cause i have a pit and he is jus plain puss im starting not to want him

 

thats some stupid shit man..pits are not gaurd dogs and you cant make them into something they are not..but yea get rid of your dog so he doesnt have to suffer from your ignorance.

U wouldnt understand still makes no difference u have to make effort to show your dog what to do u jus cant expect to buy a dog then jus put it in the yard and it protect rite away

Pits in general don't make good guard dogs and bad things tend to happen when people try to make them guard dogs.

Sell the dog and take your GSD to a trainer who will be able to help you train it.

 

They are not a guarding breed Kidd If you need a guard dog you will have to look at a guarding breed. Please research the different guarding breeds out there. The APBT has never been a guard dog so you will be terribly disappointed and frustrated with the dog if you try and make it something it's not supposed to be.

 

We understand genetics that's why you need to find a dog that was genetically selected for guard work. Go educate yourself on the APBT genetic make up and you will understand why your dog is a puss as you call it.

 

LOL Make an effort. The next time your yard needs protecting get on your hands and knees and go running,barking,and growling towards the threat to show your dogs what you expect. You came on here asking questions and when given good advice you're to stupid to appreciate it. Sounds like the dogs arent the only puss.

get a chow chow kidd, large size. the things r so fckin mean you wont even be able to go in the yard with. just dont let you "puss" stay alone with him or youll see what their really meant for..

as far as making it mean to people idk, maby confine him away from people constantly n never let him see or interact with anyone. ive heard or people chaining them under the house n so fourth to confine them and then letting people intagonize them. id imagine if you could get someone a friend or so to work with you and get the dog trying to bite at him then prassing him for it he would start to associate human aggessive behavior with being rewarded. but to be honest with you it its not really a good idea tho to try to make em mean cause if he gets loose hes gonna be maniac and will prolly attack a kid or something. a poor 7 yr old child wouldnt stand a chance against a dog like the pit dog, imagine having to live with something like that knowing the behavior you trained your dog on cost a child to have to endure something like that. hes prolly not a puss just aint human aggressive.

id get an alarm ADT as i heard someone else on the fourm say, then post signs all over the place. usually that will detere people from fckin with yr stuff, maby cameras to, you can get a 8 camera set up thro ADT for abt 2k depending on where you at and it records everything VIA enternet
