Gr Ch Snaps or Ch Comanche

If you had a chance to get a strand of Andy Capp , would you want it off of Gr Ch Snaps or Ch Comanche ? Which one and why ? Looking for opinions and insight , Thanks in advance !

 

get both... thatz a hard decision...

 

I don't know a great deal about Snaps but from what I can tell I'd go with Comanche. I like his bottom side better than Snaps because it's closer to a line breeding than Snaps who was a 50/50 dog. I can also think more highly talented dogs down from Comanche than Snaps. Even though from what I can tell Comanche isn't known for producing crawling game dogs he seems to produce talented dogs.

I think HP would be a good source of info on the Snaps stuff.

I've never seen any dogs off of snaps, however I have seen a bunch of crap off of comanche and down from comanche. I personally would never want any of that stuff... Thats just my opinion, its up to you to make your own....

cap had a littermate named calvin. that's the way i'd go with that blood. because a lot of that stuff was crossed into the bullyson blood. imo the best boyles stuff is bullyson/boomerang/hank/bolio crosses. a fella that seen both told me calvin was a better dog then cap but the owner wasn't as much as a promoter so cap grabbed the headlines.

 

I think there is a story out there somewhere that says as much.

Good info but does anyone know about snaps? I have heard that he bit like a croc but didn't always act the best. Anyone who knows about him or offspring commenting would be awesome

 

Snaps could close his mouth really good. Not sure about his offspring but he was a monster. 50% Boyles and 50% Gonner...solid cross.

 

I've got one that's from Comanche on top and snaps on bottom
