so ill be moving to the country within the next month.....and im going to be setting up a few coops....

now before i go on any further, ima start by saying i AM NOT up on my bird game WHATSOEVER!!

that being said, i do like them and respect theyre history on the same level as these dogs......and plan on raising a few.....

So.....lets see em folks, i was looking online and as far as looks go i was diggin the spangled hatch.....i dont know much about them, but they sure are pretty!



So lets see em.....post them gamefowl (roosters preferred) and what bloodline they are........pics are appreciated.........thx in advance....

 

someone was explaining to me that, that "un/like" the dogs......that certain bloodlines DO tend to throw certain traits more consistantly.....

 

Well game birds tend to throw more game offspring than dogs

Its a very dif world than dogs, but yet a few things are the same, & yes Gamefowl bloodlines are way more consistant as far as a particular bloodlines heart level goes among other traits!
Like the dogs though, If I were you I WOULD NOT look for, & purchase stock online...search in your area, I'm sure there has got to be a dogman in your area that knows, & can intruduce you to a good chicken man that can help you out as some chicken men also have been known to have dibble dabble in the dog world a lil, just like how you are thinking about dibble dabbling in the gamefowl world!

If you in a state where its not a felony you can find some dam good birds..I am sure u can in the other states to.

 

everything is a felony in CA lol

 

its just a slap on the wrist where i live.they tried to make it a felony here but goverment said no he said it brings alot of money to our state...look in the south man where its not a felony you will find some good birds.its a felony in some souther states to..Alabama and Louisiana and Mississippi its not...not sure about georgia and florida.
