I never said anything anywhere near that statement. I am not trying to pick a fight with anyone here. If you want to start putting words in my mouth then go head. I own a terrier and I do not fight it or plan to. So I do not see where you would come out with that accusation. This thread is about something completely different, if you want to say something to me or start an arguement you can PM me.

Yea the ones that jump the wall get killed because they are not game, so they have to adapt to survive. Thank you for proving the point:)

Putting words in your mouth? You were the one that said the word "forced."

    Anyhow, back to the OP.

I plan on getting some birds again and keeping them as a hobby. Maybe a handful, nothing more.

The original post just said "anybody into roosters"nothing wrong with that.Your the one that jumped the gun and started talking cockfighting. As far as a dog getting killed for jumping the wall[pre 1976] the dog don't know what's going to happen if it curs out.Anyway, the thread's about gamefowl. So that's all I have to say.

Game dogs keep going because they want to. Thats the whole point of having walls that can be jumped. To let the currs quit
If you honestly think the dogs know what going to happen to them if they quit you are mistaken. They go because they are game and enjoy what they are doing

Just as you are assuming that they do not know what is going to happen if they do not fight, you are assuming that they like fighting. I did not know you know dog language and you can understand what they are saying. Their "game" is a man made behavior implanted in them for hundreds of generations for the joy of these sick men. It is simply a reaction to the scenario, in this case being in front of another dog would trigger that.

The point is any dog is free to quit at any point. Even if they make a sign like they are going to quit they are seperated to see if they still wanna go. And no i dont speak dog but i understand body language. When a dog starts thinking it has had enough it starts to show.
Take what i say with a grain of salt. I have one "petbull" that is spayed. But i acknowledge every thing i love about the breed came from dog men doing what they do....

David I can tell your new here, this site does not promote dogfighting however we do not deny its history either. To own an APBT and to be completely 100% against the historical game is a tad hypocritical, if it wasn't for those "barbarians" of yesteryear you wouldn't have your dog that you feed today. I agree that the things that happened in the past were not all roses but it is what forged this breed that we all currently own and that is why I accept these dogs for what they are and appreciate them even more for what they were.

Also I would appreciate if you would keep your accusations to yourself, this member is showing off his Fowl nothing more. You basically called him out for illegal activity without any proof....that is not going to be tolerated on any level especially when you are only going off of your opinion with zero facts to back that accusation.

If anyone needs to discuss things further you all know where the pit is....take it there please.

    Thank you

Yeah I have a petbull too with severe DA and I just could never picture my self watching him hurt another dog or him getting hurt by being nasty like he is. I just do not have the heart to see that, I guess I am weak but I couldn't see that and think he is happy being DA even though he is a psycho and wants to fight any dog he sees.

If it wasn't for these "sick" men[which by the way I have the very highest respect for] there wouldn't be any bulldogs to get online and argue about. That's the bulldog's history and without it they wouldn't be what they are.But your not going to change your mind about it obviously and I don't think your going change anyone else's mind.

I doupt he is a psycho. This is why we as APBT owner have to apreciate there history even if you don't agree.

Aye, and there needs to be more questions, less assumptions, yes? ;)

Personally, I love game fowl. In the country where I was born, it's not at all unusual to see them running around the yards along with other chickens. Back when I was a little person a man had quite a few, and his love for them came the love of watching and raising them just like his father, and his father before him. It's just a preference in birds, reasons for which don't always have to be perceived negatively

Game-Dog.com IS NOT a democracy it IS NOT a republic it is NOT a right to be here... Thus YOU CAN NOT say what you please nor express your views as you just please, If WE (the staff) Do not like what you have to say you will be BANNED!! Understand this, your view is WRONG in some of our eyes, What we FEEL is irrelevant, only LAW and facts HOLD WATER... While I personal find nothing wrong at all when someone allows an animal to do what THEY WANT to and were bred for in the proper situation. Be it race horses, Game Cocks, Bull Dogs, cutting AQH's, Beta Fish, Tosa's, Bloodhounds, Dobermann's, or Blue Healers and sheep dogs...

What WE ALL have a problem with is FORCING an animal to do something that is not inherently natural for them to do. That is Cruel NOT merely allowing them do.
