Game Fowl

  1. Anybody on here into roosters as well as dogs? Just curious as I have been bitten by the bug and wondered if anybody wanted to talk birds.

You should fight instead of fighting helpless birds. There are plenty of amateur mma leagues where you can see how it feels. Sorry about my response but I think it is cruel.

  3. That's quite all right I am not offended, although perhaps I should clarify that I was only speaking of raising those breeds of fowl not fighting them as it is not legal in this country. And am just looking to find other who also enjoy these animals to discuss them with. I do however wonder why you felt the need to get so worked up about it. If it is not a topic you are interested in why respond at all. If game fowl make you upset why are you on game-dog.com?

see how it feels? it feels great to fight, thats what fighters do. have you ever stepped in the cage buddy?.... doubt it.

an MMA fighter is no different than gamefowl or bulldogs, they are willing participants in a fight.

I was involed with game fowls at one point in my life.

I raised and bred the Thai Game. I was only interested in the naked heel.

  6. Thanks for the reply, those thai birds are very nice looking animals I hear also that they cross well into a lot of the American birds.

Actually I have not stepped into a cage for that matter, I was only trying to illustrate how barbaric it is to force a helpless animal to fight another. To say that these animals are willing to do so is a bit unrealistic, I am sure the game fowl or bulldog does not get in a car and ride to a pit to fight all by them selves. MMA is a combat SPORT not a congregation of people trying to kill each other for money or reputation. To each their own, I put in my two cents and this is America so I am free to say what I want.

  10. Buck E. Those are some fine looking birds you have there. I've got a trio of Tombstone Brownreds on the way. How do you like those Boston Roundheads? I'm thinking of getting some RHs but have not descided which type.

Can you elaborate on how these animals are "force" to fight one another?

These dogs just happened to walk into that arena because they thought it was fun. Is this enough elaboration for you?

I have to disagree. i have herd of dogs that seem to enjoy it. They are doing there job.

Besides Every dogman I have talked to said the same thing. if the dog don't want to be there they don't put them in the []. that would be crul.

Have you ever watched a couple roosters?Don't have to force a good bird to do anything. They like it.But it's illegal so of course I don't condone that kind of activity:) But like bulldogs just owning gamefowl doesn't mean your fighting them.

Of course they didn't walk there. I don't see how they are "forced." You are obviously uneducated about subject. Please provide further proof of these "forcing methods."

Exactly, just like some people like to fight, some dogs do to.They're individuals.Either of them dogs could've jumped the wall had they wanted to.But everybody is entitled to their opinion I guess.
