i heard that the fish bones will get stuck in the dog and it could die from them. is this true?

We've never had a problem with it. Probably like most bones, if you cook it, it will become dangerous. You gotta remember, animals in the wild will eat fish and anything else they can get there paws on and do quite well for themselves.

The only thing I have a fear of feeding my dog that is raw is fish. Cooked or not I don't want to take a chance in bones that small causing damage. I know a dog can choke on anything, but to me feeding a dog raw fish and all is a high risk. Thats just my opinion.

I've done it and had no bad experiences with it, the only thing about feed FRESH RAW WHOLE fish is that some dogs just don't seem to like it.

So the Mackerel is good for them too I take it?? Would it hurt to feed daily with their kibble?? (I feed NutroMAX large breed)
