The hardest part about feeding raw is balancing everything out. They need more than just meat and bones

For future knowledge - How long does it take to transition a dog off of dry food and onto a raw diet and how do you do it ? What other balancing food is needed to compensate for other nutritional upkeep. Veggies, Grain, ETC ? When feeding multiple dogs raw food, what is the most cost effective but nutritional way ? Chicken, Beef, and where do I get it and what parts are best for the dogs to feed on. More so doing research for a friend. Thanks in advance to everyone .

You just stop feeding kibble one day, and start feeding raw. No weaning is needed and usually creates stomach upset.

Raw feeding is not just meat. You need appropriate amounts of muscle meats, bones, and organs. No need for veggies or grains at all.
Variety is key, a dog needs red meat example - Beef, pork, etc. You cannot have a healthy dog on chicken alone.
Local grocery stores, butchers, hunters, or raw feeding co-ops. The co-ops are everywhere and are the best deal, but you need to be able to store 40lbs or beef heart and 50lbs or chicken backs if you go that route.

Its really a simple thing to do if you take your time and read and before you know it you have it down.

Laced Wit Game - I know you have knowledge for days. The comments in which pookie replied with....... are they inaccurate ? Does this make a huge difference in the health quality of your dog as opposed to feeding something like Royal Canin or Nutro Ultra Holistic?

How is the meat prepped. Not even seared ? Just flat out raw ? Are dogs not effected by things like Selminila from uncooked chicken ? All knowledge is greatly appreciated.
