The part between the head and feet is the best part to feed.

I always find it strange that people want their dogs to be the best , who doesnt , but they want to save money on what they feed them , instead of giving them the best nutrition they can , and chicken heads and feet if thats the main feed is not doing that, if you dont have $2 a day per dog to put into your feed apprx then dont keep them at all .

Calm down buddy she's asking if she needs to feed the heads with everything else her dog is already getting I don't think she is trying to skimp on her dogs diet rather she's making sure her dog's getting everything it needs. People don't always know everything about how to properly feed raw that's why she's asking questions.... She never asked how to save money she asked if her dogs should eat the chicken heads along with everything else...

When asking diet questions its always best to explain what you're feeding so people dont get the wrong idea. We dont know the whole picture so its best to give as much info as possible so we can help. ;)

  9. Actually what she said was she was feeding feet and wanted to know if they needed heads also to go with it. Sounds to me like she should feed kibble and be done with it lol.

I agree it helps to be a little more detail oriented with these types of questions that way people don't get to assuming ... I think she was given the right answers everything between the head and feet is what she should be feeding. It sounds to me like she is generally not sure of what she should be feeding which is why she asked ... I didn't get where the saving money part came from LOL ...

Yeah you are right Boogie LOL I misread that oh well that's why I don't feed raw it's just easier to feed kibble but nothing wrong with asking for help that's all I was pointing out. And I was not sure where NWO got the idea she was only feeding the feet and asking about feeding the heads to save money that was assuming on his part OP you should do more research on how to properly feed raw it's important you are doing it correctly or else feeding kibble would be the best way to go.

$2 a day, lol Guess I should get rid of mine. I'm not into fat bullys though so it only cost around a buck a day per dog.

  14. Hey bro i wasnt saying im saving money on what i feed to my dog.. i didnt say their meal was just chicken heads and feets.. all im asking is do i still need to give chicken heads daily when im already giving her chicken feet..

Just for everybody to know, here is my dog raw diet:
Chicken leg, chicken back, liver, gizzard, greentripe, egg and chicken feet sometimes i switch to beef ribs instead of chicken leg or back..

I would be more concerned about feeding liver everyday, but no, you dont need to give chicken heads every day. A raw diet is a rotational diet so you should be rotating your ingredients. Just add a good fish/salmon oil and yogurt.

  16. Thanks! Yup i'll be adding some fish.. but wait do i have to remove the bones of the fish?

No need to remove the bones of a raw fish, just make sure you check the mouth for any hooks that may be in there.

  18. Thanks a lot!
