Fast Lane

What exactly is your definition of the term "fast lane"? I see people use that term often, and have used it myself, but I have never seen anyone say what it actually means to them...in my opinion you could go several ways with it. What do y'all think?

Well that depends on what country your in.

 

The metal image I think of when I hear the term 'fastlane' is that of a bad ass dog, or a level of bad ass dogs, meaning these aint hounds that hunt and chase hogs all night, they got a cold nose find the right spot quick and end the hunt short. No dancing, no ballet, no gooby goby ear grabbing crap (which I kinda like) but raw hard core rough tough to the bone go getting killin type of dog. JM2C

 

when i hear that word i think of a dog that can roll with anything u trow at him or her..

 

like bobby said straight to the point geting done fast & hard ! somtimes i think theirs to much focus on producing it & the deep game dogs are becoming less & less. :o

When I hear the phrase fast lane, it brings the word professional to mind... top of the brass.
"Back yard bullshit" frequently being the opposite of running in the fast lane.

 

Fast lane would be going up against the best there is out there, top notch competition, big well known names, playing with the big boys, the big leagues, Autobahn is not for the slow folks. Professional Prize fights.

 

Fastlane to me is top notch compitition, not the type of dogs you read for sale in a local newspapers (not that they can't be fastlane dogs it's just less likely they will be) The fastlane involves people whom are well known in the fraternity and have earned a reputation as being top level competitors in sport. The kind of people that if your going into them, you better bring a bulldog or a shovel. Some other posts mentions dogs that do it in short order but that is not the case, many fastlane dogs see well over the hour mark. In short, they are the kinds of dogs we all dream to either own, produce or promote...... (except me I breed turtles and their aint nothing fast about them)

So your saying fast lane dogs who destroyed their opponents in a short matter of time would be dogs like Chinaman and Gr Ch Zebo, but dogs like S.T.P's Gr Ch Buck and Ch Crenshaw's Jeep were not fast lane dogs???

 

The fast lane is when you leave youre own back yard and say goodbye to the bushleages. Being open to all takers and proveing youreself and youre dogs aginst top knotch comp..No ducking and dodgeing.

 

I hope not because its complete bullshit. A top knotch dog is nothing more than a dog that can compete aginst the best. No madder the style a dog uses.

 

i dont think thats what hes saying because all those dogs where fast lane dogs.
