A bloodline has to be line bred on a certain dog or a certain few dogs. Like take garner for example. He breeds a lot of dogs (obviously) but just because he's the breeder doesn't make it a bloodline cause he uses a lot of different bloodlines like bolio, Eli, chinaman, redboy, ect. All these dogs aren't garner bloodline. Same way with carver. To have a carver dog doesn't mean it's a bloodline but simply that he was responsible for the dogs in it. I think he went more by the best to best method. Like the banjo stuff. Some people consider them carver dogs but the line is banjo.

I think I misunderstood what you were saying sampson, but when I hear of a Carver dog I automatically think of Satch and Ironhead right off the bat. Then Stompanato and then the Tar Baby/Pitre dogs. But he was also responsible for Rascal, Honeybunch, and bolio which all became their own lines. Carver was the man. I think a lot of his success was because he didn't stick to one line but just good dogs.
