Redboy dog takes a whoopin for 20 min. Eli dog on the other hand has completely blown his wad and is frustrated and quits in 30.

Not sure I know enough about the Redboy dog to really judge him correctly but I think I would have to go with Redboy, pretty sure he would have enough to come up from the bottom to pull it off.

redboy dogs do have mouth and have the wind....not just "barnstormers"...imo both..i have a boy breed redboy/bolio on top and mtn man/frisco on bottom...:eek:

Sounds like a ped that should throw a few well rounded dogs.....on paper anyway

 

Tough question. Do I go with with the hard puncher or the enduranced fighter? I will have to go with the Eli dogs.

redboy dogs have mouth depending on which strain of redboy you have.
why do you guys go by what others say? have you ever owned a redboy dog?
have you ever owned a eli dog? most people here dont have the experience to deal with a true crazy off the chain redboy dog or the patience for a heavy inbred eli dog.
the truth is they both work the best when crossed to other lines.
look at all the bloodlines started after the 70's dont they all contain redboy??

eli dogs are just as game as any when bred for the right reasons ebery where you go you here they have great mouth and they do but when bred by the right people and not some idiot only lookin for crunch hen you will get a good dog

I was stating how nomatter how good the papers look it could be a fucked up dog

and that goes with the redboy dogs to I just seen them on the other extreme
had a dog that loved to try and catch hogs but wouldnt use his mouth not at all

the bad eli dogs that I have seen tended to be very very scary and would probly start pissing on its self if you looked at it wrong

it was all because of their breeding they were off of good familys just bred to tight

 

Both family of dogs have their share of great ones! Ya'll know i'm an Eli guy, but I can definately appreciate a good Redboy dog...and i've seen a few that can crunch with the best of them just to discredit that myth. Anyway, you know which way i'm leaning.

However, I think the biggest seperation between the two families is when you look at the bitches! The great Eli bitches were just downright phenominal...Shady Lady, Tornado, Honeybunch, Sadie, Bad Becky, Shotsie, China Girl, etc, etc, etc.

 

r.blood handles his 1x winner "Smokey" sired by a son out of tarbaby,
rebel conditioned and handles Mt.Man's CH HOMER sired by rascal jr. out of midnite. smokey on top for the 1st 15 doing a good nose job, homer getting in now and then , homer pulls even with smokey still on the nose , homer's mouth has him on a down dog @1:00, smokey still on the nose, they both run 5 each , and smokey lunges out of his corner for his 6th and falls, his legs won't let him get up and his counted out at 2:00 hours homer runs a strong courtesy scratch. winner:
