Agree 100% scrapper was an underrated stud dog! To me one of the better lines reid brought in.

 

So wot are reid dogs most known for wind or mouth or brain and how would you know if it's the reid blood that is working or the mix it's bread with

 

..the ones way back..were very good winded..average everything else..could have done with better in some departments...but the ones i remember were deep game honest dogs....................

Well you can't have it both ways All Blacks! Huck scratched 24 times and picked up game in 1.14 v's Limey's Kelly 1xw, was he just a cur when he stopped against Champion Jacko, or as you already stated, was he Jacko's hardest opponent, going 45mins into the UK's most notorious assassin <IN HIS PRIME!> left down by his novice owner and stopped before he got killed? Unlike Curstopper who met Jacko aged 8 years old, dragged out of retirement over a drunken argument in the pub! Let me put it this way, if the money was right I might have challenged Lenny Maclean to a fight, just so long as he was dying of cancer! No criticism of Champion Curstopper intended.

Funny it is how back in the day,people with money were buying all these so called fast lane dogs from big name dog men in the states,and the best line of dogs ie the skipper dogs were already in the country.some people cant see whats under their noses.then again it would be a bit stupid people with the same bloodlines matching into each other all the time,just thinking thats all.
