Think its lighter than my Stihl and Echo has a little bigger engine

Todd said the same thing, he said it's bigger cc and lighter. It's all they run with his crew. I was in the market a couple years ago for one and looked at them, wound up with a Husqvarna but i do have a Echo blower, it's really easy to tune but it does feel a bit heavy.

Man the salesman that helped me today said a lot of his comercial guys are using the 266 instead of the 280 because 266 is so much lighter.I aint gone lie I bought a Hitatchi blower last year and I sware I believe you could piss in the gas tank and it still run.Its light,as light as my dads electric maybe lighter. It got real high reviews and after using it ,I see why.

They dont make the 266 anymore either.I bought the last one in the store today.Echo changed the 266 to something else but all my research was based on the 266 so that's what I went with.

I say the same thing about the Echo blower. I can just about look at it and it will start.

We have a Troy Built weed eater. I think it is about 6 or 7 years old. It has ben a beast.

I'm not sure about its weight. My wife does all the yard work. My job is to keep the deck level, the blades sharp and the fuel mixed. From there she cuts the grass and trims.

When we first got married I cut the grass and I accidentally blew grass clippings into the flower bed. She told me I was too stupid to mow grass. 20+ years later, still the same.

    Lmao^

I don't like my Echo, it turns counter clockwise and beats the shit outta my legs when I'm in shorts. Other than that no complaints, my echo blower works great also!

Got a turd Snapper 52 Zero turn....something breaks on the deck once a year. Not real sturdy for an acreage.

We have a John Deere weedeater at work which was actually made by Echo and it's prob 15 yrs old.It has caught hell and is still in top condition. This is why I decided to try Echo.

Snapper use to be really good .My dad bought one probably been 30 yrs ago .It came with a Kohler engine and my uncle has it now and still cuts grass with it lol.About the only way now days to ensure quality on a riding mower is go comercial with the welded deck. The comercial is just made better and made to last .I mentioned my dads Snapper ,it was just a home owners small riding mower but they just don't make home owner mowers like they use to.Cub Cadet is another example ,and John Deere.Shit you can go to the big box stores and get about any brand and they just aren't made like they use to be.

It was supposedly commercial but with a cast deck. I should have spent the 1500 more and went with the Ferris, lesson learned.

My grandpa bought a Toro rider YEARS ago for a two acre lot they bought and he left it to my grandma when they got divorced, that mower ran up until 2007 with basic maintenance, it finally broke and we couldn't find parts anymore for it. i actually still prefer older stuff if it's practical, it's always made better.

We just left RK and i am in the market for a new Chain Saw, all they carry now is Echo and few off brand, they carried Sthil 2 years ago, not sure why they don't anymore. Either way, i am gonna head over there and grab an Echo, ill keep you guys posted on how well it does. it's more than i need really but it will be nice to have, make quicker work of what i need it for.

Ok if I'm looking for a chainsaw I want to make sure it has a adjustable oiler and not Automatic oiler. Most of and maybe all homeowner saws have automatic oilers and I havent saw one that I liked.

John Deere .Home owners model its about 15 yrs old and runs good.We use it at the shop to keep the grass cut.We have had to fix it a few times but this machine represents a quality home owners mower. It was actually used as a demo when we bought it
