I've used a similar regime as the boric acid solution, but instead used 1 part white vinegar and 1 part rubbing alcohol. Works really well. I even use it for my kids after they get out of the pool.
Vinegar kills the yeast. Not to get too personal but I know of women who get cronic yeast infections that douche with vinegar.

Lol yeah I was doing that with just acv and it seemed to work then wife would ask what I was doing with the acv I would tell her I'm going to douche my dog but comparison wise do you the think blue mix would work better granted a woman couldn't use it unless they wanted a Smurf colored cooch lol also is all boric acid the same despite intended use? If so I can make it both ways

I've never tried the boric acid solution bc I've had good luck with the vinegar/alcohol mix and it was easier for me to make....I always have both around the house. But, I would guess that it would work the same.
I believe that all boric acid is the same despite different uses. That I can't really speak too much on bc I've only used it a handful of times to make soap.
