Dumbest stuff you've heard

I own a mixed breed dog according to a lot of people who own 'pit bull mixes' and bully mutts. :/ Thats one of the dumbest things I've heard along with how my dogs are useless.

Another thing I've heard is that every pit bull around here is either tagged boudreaux or Colby. I walk Jud and I have several people say 'OH! You dog is so well built! Look at its spots! Its gotta be a Boudeaux.

:/ Another is from my sister when I mentioned I wanted to start raw with my dogs eventually. She stated the bloodthirsty myth. I laughed and promptly corrected her.

 

i find the dumbest shit is all the craigslist ads i see and they say "good home only no fighters" now most families looking to adopt a pitbull.as soon as they hear fight associated with the breed they look away.just kinda adds more uneeded attention... i dunno just how i see it but maybe im still green aswell

 

Like that would stop someone who wanted to use the dog for fighting... as if anyone would want to use those dogs for fighting... lol

 

the "blue UKC/ADBA pits" ads that say not for fighting are really hypocritical because they're fucking up the breed even worse with what they are doing to those dogs.

 

I walk my dog in public occasionally, and the most often question i get is : "What breed of pit bull is that?" I hate that question on so many levels!

I feel bad for the people asking, because i usually start laughing out loud! My most common response is "American Pit Bull Terrier, but if you are asking about color, he is a black brindle, and if you are asking about his lineage, I'm sure you wouldn't recognize the names on his pedigree".

 

I haven't gotten that with Jud yet. Just a bunch of people telling me what my dog is. Now Snow, my American Bulldog mix, she gets the 'what type of pit bull is that?' I usually tell them 'a mutt'.

 

Yeah,I'm sure someone wanting to match a dog is going to get one from Craigslist,lol People's ignorance use to amaze me until I decided we just live in a world full of morons.

ive heard this BS so many times. i cant believe people still BUY that crap. There are SO MANY "pit bulls" on craigslist that are fucking gotti blue whale dogs.

 

didnt read the whole thread so it might be a repeat, but the dumbest i can recall hearing is the culling of all black dogs

 

Dumbest things I heard are almost anything posted on hoobly in my area, it's an encyclopedia of misinformation.

 

Dumbest shit I heard and just got told AGAIN today is...

-Your dog, he isnt fixed? Oh well I worked for the Humane Society and you should get it done.. you know its better for him right? It will calm him down and make him not so wild..
Well you know if you dont fix him your killing HUNDREDS of shelter dogs! People like you are the reason there are so many dogs in the shelter in the first place!-

LOL my fucking mutt has balls, thats it. He has never and will never produce ANYTHING lol but somehow I am killing shelter dogs.. who knew a pair of dog balls could do that?!!! *boggles*
