Dogs with slower metabolism? Is it possible

    I have a dog that I really love her structure and have been trying to cut her weight down to get her ready for shows but it's very difficult she won't loose much wait even though she goes through significant workouts. She's currently on a kibble feed and I'm feeding about half of what is suggested for her weight but she still doesn't show significant improvements. Anyone else go through this? I will say that she has shown significant changes in her stifle rear leg area but still very minimal tuck.

    Have you had her thyroid tested? Not just T4 but full panel? I think they need to be sent to U of M to be read as well.
