can anyone tell me who this ken davies is, i never heard of him in the dogs to be honest.
it sounds to me like he is trying to save the show dog, whats the point really ?
some nice looking staffords but as we all know, looks mean little when trying to assess a real bull terrier and saving the breed will only be done one way and few are prepared to take the time when the apbt is out there with such a head start.

you can't against these fuckers, now they're trying to find excuses to say the staffords were stocky, barrel chested and short legged. one of these rocket scientist has one stafford sitting down on his hindlegs (a pic from the 1916 or there abouts), and you know how different dogs look when they are sitting down on their back legs. this idiot's motto about this pic is "if isnt broken how fix it" that's the kind of mentality we are dealing with. i think is better to help those who wanna than fight against these dumb fuckers.
i can show you a pic of my boy sitting down, you would swear he's a fat low slung-piece of shit show dog.

Hello Jacko, the article is from an old club magazine I stumbled across online.

Ken is true gentleman a Stafford show Judge that has done more for both the Stafford & Bulldog than people such as yourself ever will.

He has alway's advocated the original 18 inch standard and belittle's the modern day 16 inch version at every opertunity. Many dog's in the article were proper dog's that proved it in the traditional sence. A good few of the above dog's a person couldn't tell the difference between them and an average bulldog in the flesh.

he could be the queen of show judges favoring the 18 inch for all i care, still wont make a turd difference. apparently you know everyone and their dogs here to judge as such.

u smell like another tree hugger to me who loves the frogs been shown for nothing other than fame and the benjamins. 10 inch or 25 inch doesnt matter they are still improper stafford

it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell a mediocre stafford, especially those which only have won beauty ribbons,

LMAO about this statement, that bloke Ken Davies wouldn't know a true SBT if 1 was standing in front of him, bloody hell he even judged Crufts.
No true fancier of SBT could ever agree with crufts today and what they stand for.

maybe he's trying to change things from the inside?

  19. Some people on this board should if they had half a brain and really knew who was who in the dog game show a little respect as a certain someone has forgoton more than most will ever know in the dogs

If you have forgotton what has been teached to you then it wasn't so important to remember in the first place.
Please let me clear up my reaction since somehow it seems that it always get some folks offended.

    1. If he was so important to the game, i think i would have heard about him a long time ago, as i did of others, i may not talk much about the past but that doesn't mean i don't know.
    2. Again if he was so important to the game and did so much, no way that you wil become a judge of show dogs and even judge crufts.
    3. After this first post i wasted 1,5 hours of my life to see what he exactly have done for the dogs and to see what kind of dogs he judges and those who won by his judgment and al i see is crap.

Why show respect for a person who been in the game (as you stated) but has forsaken it to become a show judge ?
Why show respect for a person who judges shows like crufts ?.
No serious breeder of any type of working dogs, could agree what is happening on crufts the last years, jmo.
