dog gets shot protecting family

not sure if thats a purebred apbt..kinda looks like one..regardless..great dog for sure!! anyways anyone notice how when there is a good press they just mention that its a "dog" and just a dog..when if that same dog were to get involved in an "accident" it would be immediately referred to as a PITBULL instead of a dog..its like a pitbull cant be a heroic dog or something...anyways just wanted to share..we should all write to them just to make a fuss about it lol.

 

i was watching CNN this morning while i was doing paperwork and saw that story, and first thing that popped into my head also was that they just called it a "dog", instead of a "pit bull"

 

That's the way it always goes! Down here Pitbulls only get mentioned if they have done something wrong or they are trying to ciminalize some one for helping them.

 

I emailed CNN saying just that. I am hoping that one day these dogs will get the attention they truely deserve.

 

Nice. A dog bites or kills someone and it's a "pitbull", it saves lives and it's just some dog. Another example of how the media screws this breed
