I'm going to bump this one more time. Anyone from tx know the man that runs this? I think there are only 2 yards that have it heavy.

A good friend sought out some tight wise blood and was unable to work something out with the man,,,
I find that hard to believe because this man is easiest person to get along...

He has been close friends with TDK for thirty years as well as others honest dogmen,,,
well respected and spoken by his peers...

he summed up SEEKING for tight WISE blood as a lost cause not meant to be,,,
he had the same conclusion when dealing with Kizenbaw,,,
the more he sought the old CLOUSE TOMBSTONE cross
the more KIzenbaw felt it was worth...

In the early ninties KZB offered to rent a brood bitch for twenty five hundred dollars,,,
with the conditions she be bred to Hollingsworth Crash or Bull (forgot which one),,,
split the litter with the owner of the stud as KZB was in debt with him,,,
and send the bitch back after the breeding...

What I have learned from his lessons,,,
is the people behind the dogs or blood you are seeking is far more important than blood you are looking for...

But re-creating a monster via the same cross is good experiment to see if the cross is successful or just a lucky breeding...

I have also came to the conclusion that I might as well give it up and focus on the breeding that left me wanting more and keep that line going as much as I can. The cross seems to be working well but I am still left feeling like a crackhead chasing that first high that I am slowly realizing there is no high like the first one. This year I am on the chase to add some of the carver back into the yard but I have yet to decide what source I will be using but I do know the options will be very limited. Check this old fella out that I think I am going to make a call and try that re-creation you are talking about.
