I didn't mean that 75% of the population listens to his music, I meant that 75% of the population take the word of TV and newspapers to heart. They believe everything they read and hear, and use the media's opinion of certain things to be their own. Most people don't bother to dig for the facts, they just go by that "I heard that/they say that" mentality. And I know about Little Rascals, but how many other people know that Petey was a pitbull? Most people probably consider him to be "old school" and not one of the "monsters" we own today.
    I was being sarcastic, LOL.
I suppose you're right about the media and if they want to portray something a certain way, they will, but there are a few names out there who would make a big impact on how people think (or at least make them question their opinions) if they would show support. Otherwise, what would be the point of celebrity activism? Or even celebrities in advertisement?

I'd also like to add that I try to do my part in educating people about pitbulls and the fact that they're not what they're cracked up to be. I make it a point to tell nearly everyone I know or come in contact with that pits are not "evil". It may be just a small thing, but it's a start.
It seems like we're not the only ones with bad attitudes.

As far as DMX not hurting the breed any more than it has been hurt, well, he's not exactly helping it either.

Nobody brags about trailer parks because they suck. Apparently it's cooler to be poor in a ghetto than it is to be poor in a trailer park. What about Kid Rock? "I ain't straight outta Compton, I'm straight out tha trailer!" LMAO!

Well every one has there opinions, every one lives different, some similar, but different. If you didn't grow up the way he did or similar to the way he did you wouldn't understand. Lifestyles are different and he doesn't say livin in the ghetto is cool, he is saying that he has survived the ghetto and overcome the ghetto, basically saying that he made it. He is just letting us know what he went through and what he is going through now. I know you are wondering then since he made it why does if live that life style. That is how he is, money doesn't change that, if you grew up 20 yrs. all kinds of stuff around you like stealing, guns, killing, sex, and all out violence some people can't excape that. All I'm am saying is that the real thugs, the real gangstas, I are not purposely living that way. Some have know choice and some just can't excape it.

This isn't about opinions, this is about some scumbag using our dogs to make himself look like a hard ass, and giving us, and our dogs a bad rap because of it. And yes I called him a scumbag.(That is my opinion)

WHY would someone even GIVE a dog to this guy? Or to anyone that is high-profile or is popular with the kids?

The popularity of this breed with KIDS is the latest in the endless permutations of popularity this breed keeps facing. In my opinion, the dogs should be kept out of any high-profile home, situation....I know people who are thrilled to be able to place their dogs with some celebrity...not good, imo.
