Too bad we couldn't talk to the people who own this site

Many of the dogs are already in there but they don't really moderate the site at all and honestly, it needs help with its forum activity big time, place has cobwebs.
Maybe purpose a combine of sorts? Wish I could help but know nothing about such things.

This is your time folks, step up and help take this place to a whole different level with a pedigree database. Someone got to know how to do such things here...

 

I am almost certain it would be no different than setting us a web site like many do on sites such as www.webs.com. one of the options would have to allow input from "users" or "members". Similar to a post..or chat board.

Im sure its a bit more complex. I have made pedigrees on the site with decent luck.
As said..folks seem more interested in the free entry of pedigree than the forum..as said..the forum seems dormant. It is also next to impossible to get ahold of anyone to fix errors. it needs an option to submit a correction, and approval by a staff....
That is the stage that seems to need adjusted on the pedigree site.

I like the free and always will be part.
...but it needs more approved folks to fix things...or try..

 

I use both sites with luck. I think once a website is used to "sell" a service.or anything....it becomes an entity... But while remaining free it is not bound to any obligations to its members..submitters..or users..??

Would be a great idea to do this. Would extend the community of this site. There's good knowledgeable people here. Just not much dog talk goin on. A pedigree database would bring a lot of people to the forum.

Y’all missed the good days. This place was poppin like fish grease about 5+ yrs ago. That mayfield thread was epic!! A lot of the OGs don’t post any more. Real HoFers right here to answer the right questions. A lot of guys with good info.

Hard to get folks to talk dogs now, unless they are old. The fire heated up on the hunt and the circles got even smaller than they were. Best kept that way. Talkin dogs is cool, but certain convos should be had in person these days. Seems everything can get you fucked up. Even some of the old posts on here have been edited from their original forms. Had to be there to read it first.
