I compete against dagger dogs all the time and I am not impressed with them at all. It is more impressive to see a 35-45 lb apbt pull 100 times its body weight than to see a 120lb dagger or wopper dog pull 6000 0r 7000 lbs. www.performancepits.com

Correct me if im wrong, but isn't this the same dagger kennels that was under investigation by the F.B.I about 10-12 years ago because he was using his high priced dogs to find people with money, and then having his boys do home invasions? I'm not 100% but am pretty sure it was them.

Really guys? You shouldn't talk about bloodlines you know nothing about. My friend has 5 dagger dogs and yes they are big his male is 130lbs and females range from 75 to 95 lbs. There is nothing goofy about his dogs they are big and still game dogs. They are bred to pull and hunt wild boar which they do veeerrrrry well. Talk to a owner of a dagger dog they are happy with them and get them to serve the purpose they are bred for these dogs are the best weight pulling dogs I have seen. I prefer the shorter dogs but these dogs are still Pitts and good ones just depends on what you like at 10mnths my friends dog tackle me with no problem running in the yard and yes he was a agile dog and still is at 130! Trust what you hear about those dogs they are the best at what they do pull pull pull!!!

Your pretty damn ignorant you troll no it is not still an APBT it is a mix bred mutt and unless your friend is competing in illegal activities then he wouldn't know if his dogs were game or not so apparently you have no clue what gameness is this is a game dog site bot a Bully site move along now all you did was come to start trouble on an old ass thread

Oh really im ignorant! If you know your bloodlines and have bred them tightly your offspring should be game dogs not all will be of course but then again they could be. And there's ways to find out without doing anything illegal. But really people didn't start owning Pitts in 1930 to have a show dog or for them to look good otherwise real dogmen do not have a preferred look. Some of the ugliest dogs were some of the best. And game can be measured many different ways if a dog pulls and doesn't quit he is game in a sense or hunts and doesn't give up on a trail he's also game. Your the ignorant one who thinks being game means fighting dogs not always the case. Some of the best females that produced game dogs never saw a pit. So who's really the ignorant one!!! There would be no pitt bull without the pit that's where they started and how we began to love the breed and over time have realized they are more than that and are incredible pets with a drive that came from the pit. When we buy or breed dogs we do not want a dog that's shy or cautious we want head strong go get em dogs. You will not keep a dog if you do not think he will perform to your needs so now what kind of dog you really want sounds like that poodle is your style!!!

And them not being apbt if that's the case then alot of these dogs aren't you could say the show dogs aren't Pitts. Most of them not all are just pretty and no aspect of being a pitt no drive. Really this is a game dog sight but you only measure game by fighting why? The dogs have more to offer and show gameness in different ways. Just like people love the bullys I have one but is that a true pitt. I believe so I have razorsedge, rockstream, and gotti lines. I don't breed for big dogs but yes I do get them. Size doesn't make them a mutt do your research and actually look at a dagger pedigree then you will see the truth!!

Please enlighten us on how the Apbt breed standard ends at 60lbs. yet your talking about 130lb. dogs without another breeds influence? I can understand up To a 20lb difference but 70lbs. consecutively, I call bullshit. Also gameness isn't shown in weight pull, drive is.

What it boils down to is we have an uneducated fool that comes on here talking about he has a razors edge APBT which does not exist but in his mind and yes in the case of the APBT when you are talking game there is only one way to know and like i said in the case of the APBT im sure in the case of those razors edge bred hounds you own how fast they can get off the couch to the food bowl without giving up in the end yes you are ignorant and i will not respond to you again for that simple fact

There's other ways to test gameness, but fighting is probably the kindest... I know that the old time bulldogges before the APBT existed, at the end of its career some folks would cut off its front feet and see if it would still go for the bull to see if it was worth being breed.

There is only ONE WAY to test gameness. Don't give anybody any bright ideas, unless you want to see a bunch of old dogs walking around on stubs.

one more before the thread is closed.
back in 1994 the ADBA had a convention in Long Beach CA. Omar was there making an ass of himself as usual and playing the tough guy. he had one of his mutts with him and he was walking it around on a leash looking to intimadate somebody or something. Mary S was there and she had a good looking patterdale male, probably 15lb. tough guy Omar walks up to Mary with his dog and just stands far enough away so the dogs don't touch. Mary gives her little dog a little leash and he clamps onto Omar's dogs nose. Omar's dog starts squealing like the cur he is and Omar gets all bent out of shape. i thought Mary was going to whip Omar's ass right there but she was obviously the bigger man that day.
