She has to wait THREE days for the results. But they told her she has diverticulitis and an infection so right now she's on anti biotics.

I think you can do a lot with em if ya know how.
you can use the leaves for tea.eat the berrys any way you like, even make like a jam/sause out of em.(you can with blackberrys to)you can press the juice out of em.
and you can make a potent wine out of em.i dont no how to do that?.im not a wine drinker.if it was the last drink on earth i would not drink it.

    Superfood.

Oh I agree but the reality was I made more money on unemployment and got to stay home and mess with dogs all day. Was probably the best 3 months I've lived as an adult, no lie. It's just hard to want to go back to working your ass off for shit pay coming from being off that long when you hate your job. I was raised to work hard by people who did just that who came.from people who did just that..

I will say though, the counter to that phrase you used, that by the way my parents have preached to me my whole life is,

it could also be a lot better....

Being a man is taking care of your responsibilities and being able to provide and protect your family. Going to work or not going to work don't make one man, I know a ton of bitch ass lazy Mfers that work and they are straight up children mentally. Being loyal to a job that don't give 2 squats about you makes one a loyal sucker and slave to debt, not a man. Being a man makes one a man. Not being able provide very well when working as opposed to me not working and making more don't equate to being a man or not, it makes me smart because I can better provide. If anything, it allowed me to actually not only get ahead of everything bill wise but also fix my credit and get things I've been wanting or needing for years and just couldn't get because there is never enough money.

I used to be that loyal break my back for a company type person until I got smart and realized my job will be posted before my obituary hits the newspaper and they would work me to death if I allowed it and think.nothing of it. Lol a job don't make a man it makes a complaint worker so you can make millions for someone else while they pay you hardly shit.

Obviously one has to work as that money well will dry up but I aint got to like it. Lol.

I hear you brother, sorry I was a little harsh. You see I worked my ass off too when I was a young man. I did new construction painting and worked out in triple digit heat for contractors who didn’t give two shits about you. I did this for 20 years for several outfits and then my boss layer me off as he said he was paying me to much and he could hire illegals to replace me and pay them half of what I made. That was a wake up call and I decided to get my painting contractors license. I worked twice as hard and made decent money but I was small time just me and a helper. I was now my own boss and could do the kind of work I could be proud of. I’m now retired and enjoying life but at the moment life is crazy. I wish you well, if there’s something your good at take a leap of faith and see what you can accomplish, take advantage of this delima were in.

Lol that's by biggest problem. I have a hard time taking chances. I'm not a gambler at all. I prefer sure things. It takes a lot to get me out of my comfort zone and do or try new things.

I hate where I live yet I stay here because it's less upturn of my life and everything I know is here. I Stay at a job I loathe because frankly, I've worked my way into a corner in my profession and have no where to go with at least 25 more years of working left,, probably longer because I have no 401k or savings etc. I pay my bills and there just aint enough left for savings.. Going back to school at this stage of the game isn't going to happen either, sure I might make more money but I'll be paying school loans on around 100k+ until I'm retirement age lol so it don't seem that would work well for me either. Since I've spent the last quarter century doing what I do I'm not really qualified for much else.

I quit my job for 8 months a few years back to try and get out of Healthcare completely and do something else. Problem is, I'm very qualified for a job in a health-care setting or OR but not really anything else. No one even would call and ny resume looks phenomenal,,,,, If applying for a job in Healthcare though. I ended up at TSC hating it worse than my previous job at a huge pay cut so I didn't last very long before I was right back in a local hospital where I've been ever since. I don't blame life or any one person other than myself so don't take this as a whoa is me looking for sympathy type post, it's not. I am my biggest and hardest obstical in my life and I will talk myself right out of trying something new with the what ifs. It's something that was so drilled into me growing up that I've never really been able to shake loose that way of thinking and just take the chance.

I do tell my folks occasionally if they only would have just raised me to bend a knee and kiss an ass or 2 instead of do your best and work as hard as you can (even if you hate what you do) and one day, someone will notice and it will elevate you significantly professionally. That shit just don't happen like it did for my parents generation, it's more who you know than what you know. I'd probably be running one of these joints by now but instead my hard work just gets me more work with absolutely no financial gain or self satisfaction.

I'd be really surprised if my boss even knew wtf I do day to day.

Thankfully I have a happy type personality and an extremely good sense of humor and do really feel blessed in a lot of areas of my life. While I have my shortcomings at certain things I'm generally a pretty happy person so I guess happiness really is not about money but........

I think I'd be a lot happier with more of it. Lmao...

That’s good that dispite what life has thrown you that you have a happy attitude. You know Jesus went through hell for us and he still kept a positive attitude. I wake up each morning and thank God for blessing my wife and myself for another day of life. I’m sure you find a lot of peace and joy in your dogs wich is a good thing. I used to have Bulldogs years ago, and have also been into Gamefowl for 35 plus years and I get a lot of joy from my hobby. So yeah life is tough but we just have to keep a good attitude and be thankful for the good in our life

I have worked for the same company for 20 years this month. I came there from another chemical/pharmaceutical company and there we worked a lot more than we were paid. The company I am at now, in comparison to other similar companies, over pays for what we do. Most every thing is automated now. They are making $30+ dollars an hour to push a button and wait for the magic to happen. Since the majority never put their hands on the actual pumps and valves when the magic does not happen they are as lost as last year's Easter egg.

We are on the other end of the pandemic as if someone is around some one who is around someone who is around someone who is positive then they stay home til they are tested or do 14 days at home. Paid.

We have a couple here and there who are taking advantage of the free time off.

So these are 'men' who are working and providing, but fucking a co-worker to do so. Sort of demeans the definition of 'man'. But that is just my opinion.

Best of luck and be safe. Michele hopefully your mom is OK. Thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for your prayers. My Mom ended up having diverticulosis. She had to take anti biotics and she's feeling much better. My mom is in Florida. She's old but she still drives, volunteers and never sits still. This quarantine is making her crazy.

As far as work goes, I've been at the same job for 24 years. I've seen three lay offs in my company and tons of changes over the years. Do I love my job, NO. But, it pays the bills and puts food on the table. The health benefits are great and so is the vacation. I feel grateful because I know there are a lot of people that are struggling.
