cold river kennels not open to public anymore?

i was showing a buddy some vids and dogs on youtube and got to showing him versace pulling 12,170 lbs he was amazed and i was like they have a website we can check out what they have (he is interested in getting into weight pull) anyway went to see and they are closed to the public anyone know why or did they just get sick of breeding for the public


PS those personally aren't my cup of tea anyway they had some nice pull dogs but just not for me

 

I don't know that they ever did breed for the public. I could be wrong though.

I met them a few years ago and became pretty good friends with them. They are some awesome weight pull trainers, and awesome people! They have a 10lb chihuahua that pulls over 500 lbs!! NO SHIT I AIN'T KIDDING!

Yes his is a bad ass little dog. They get this kind of performance from all their dogs though. Some of the best weight pull trainers I know.

ok thanks for replying to the thread a friend of mine was looking for a weight pull dog and i thought of you good folks i know i had seen 1 or 2 available to the public before and after seeing versace pull i was extremely impressed with your dogs and your training so i thought if you had a good prospect or a litter that i would check the website and it would be there ... but anyway if you are going to have a litter here anytime soon and plan on letting 1 or 2 go send me a message if ya do not mind

your right we did have pups available (off of the one breeding) to the public at one point almost two years ago, we ended up placing one on the west coast and keeping the rest of the litter. Did you see Versace in person or internet? Do you weightpull now?
