Cigars

I love me some good cigars. Anyone else enjoy them? I'm not talking about those Phillies or Dutchmasters, but some genuine hand rolled Nicaraguan puros. I am not sure what to treat myself to tonight.

 

Al Capone cigars are nice.

 

Have you tried Acid Cigars? pretty good smoke!

 

Montecristo ,Punch ,Romeo Y Julieta, Cohiba are my picks after a good night.

 

Cohiba Red Dot's are supposed to be as close to Cuban's as you can get. Cigars.com is a good place to look for them. They have a great selection.
I would have to go with Man O' War. Anything AJ makes is great!

 

No. Not the acid stuff. My wife really liked the tabak especial from Drew Estates. I really liked the taste of it while lighting it for her, though it's not really my kind of cigar.

My wife got me a Padron 1964 Anniversary & Arturo Fuente OpusX for my bday, along with a bottle of The Glenlivet. The Padron was a really good smoke.

I go through CI and get the 8 cigars/mo deal they have. Right now enjoying a Perdomo Lot 23 w/ a glass of Beam, neat. I don't think my wife likes me drinking the bottles of wine...by myself. But, I really prefer single malts with cigars. Quality of Cubans is in the drains. Has gone down hill since the cigar boom in the 90s. Most families are just using Cuban seed in different areas. I really like Nicaraguan stuff.

 

Macallan is my favorite malt. Cohibas for special days and DonDiego as a less expensive option are OK for me.

 

Love me a good cigar with some cognac.
I like the balmoral from the dominican republic and now i have some quintero's senorita's, cuban's.
For special day's i always let the lady of the store suprise me
We now have al kinds of cuban's over here so i am discovering the ones i like now

 

Have to say my favorite Malts come from Islay....Laphroaig cask strength being no. 1 in my book....not into cigars much, usually get a few when on a cruise, Romeo y Julieta or Chohiba. Heard Arturo Fuente are some of the best.

shout out to RI for the medical marijuana program. once the large dispensaries get kicking things are going to change. and with my state, MA, decriminalizing pot, were in the right direction.

I know theres bomb ass sticky around the country but wait til RI gets really boomin, east coast is gonna take off!!!!

However, back to the thread I do enjoy a good cigar with a couple glasses of Chimay...

Opus X is my ultimate favorite... and your correct above... most of the stuff grown around the world is cuban seeds... Partagas, Macanudo, Romeo & Juliets, and Cohibas are runner ups... The Cohibas when yuou ca get them fresh are tough but great tasting especially fresh... I enjoyed the hell out of them in Mexico... unfortunately I haven't the funds to indulge in the finer things in life so I been out of this game for a bit... lol... none the less PLEASE enjoy...

I think it's ridiculous that some states still don't allow medical MJ. Even though I've never done it and probably won't ever try it, I think weed should be perfectly legal.

RP aren't bad. Their RP The Edge is awesome and affordable. Probably one of my favorites. But, I like strong maduros.

The one thing I didn't like about the Opus X was, although it tasted great, the flavors didn't seem to blend well. It was just straight flavorful. I'll def buy another, though. It could have just bend the stick I got.
