Chewing Household Items

    It's not punishment. If he is doing these things after a period of in activity, it's probably pent up energy. It's got to go somewhere and if your not wearing it off, he will find something to wear it off for him.

    This is an accident waiting to happen. Why not put in a long line of some sort. His drive could kick in with little warning and off he'd be after another animal.

    You do realize that them being ''pups'' together, as well as you socializing him with other dogs, isn't necessarily going to curb his potential for dog aggression, right?

    I agree with Zoe on this, I own a 4 month old cane corso puppy you can see a pic of her here
    whenever she goes to chew something, i say no no and replace it with a bone and it works she will chew the bone instead. It will take a few times to correct this behavior and they will go from one to the next so you gotta start over.
     

  5. If you didnt feel like walking 1 dog in the snow or rain... youre not goin to feel like exercising 2 dogs in the snow or rain... ya know?? Work on the pup u have at hand ! :)

    Yup. I generally don't start giving my dogs free run until they are two. By this time, they've been fully monitored, directed and prevented from learning bad behaviors, they are generally mature enough to handle the freedom. He's still a baby really, well, a teenager baby. I wouldn't be ready to trust him yet, as he's proven. lol
