Black Max (over 50% Reid) appears to have been nemesis for both CH.Hagar and his son CH. Curstopper.. Below dog was to meet Curstopper for his 5th, came half pound over and Yarrakin Kennels chose not to go ahead.. I heard a few say they was wise not to!

Above dog just another champion to add to the long list of Reid cross winners without Max, Hagar or Curstopper in their pedigree. I doubt the Max fan club ever get it through their heads.. Pistol Peg descendants are still about. Even though the lads have added in some other Patrick blood to the mix the foundation is basically Pistol Peg offspring.

 

The dog should always come first. I for one do not blame Yarrakin for not going ahead with it. I wouldn’t have either after the amount of traveling and headaches he did to get over. The home side should’ve made sure they made weight not come in over.
