Reading the Canberra Times on Saturday I spot an add for Pitbull pups ($700). Expecting the worst I ring up just for shits and giggles and enquire about their bloodlines - " American and Rednose" is the answer................:mad:

 

Yep I have run across the blue rednose bybs they make me laugh. Then get made when I tell them hey don't know shit about apbts.

 

well I rang a guy in Sydney and when I asked him what bloodlines,he told me Old Family Red.If he has an OFR then Im a monkeys uncle :p

 

Trelos, i didnt think there was OFR around here...i think theres some in NZ...any Kiwis reading this please enlighten us. im a little surprised they would even know of the line if they didnt have it...

 

Thats what everyone is saying here in NSW.. either they have OFR or their friends have OFR.. i have spoken with a few vietnamese dog owners who just keep on saying that their dogs are red nose when i asked about the bloodline.

FYI - There is no BSL whatsoever in the ACT. You are allowed to own and breed these dogs. You're kiddin yourself if you think the do gooders are going to get onto us here - especially if you're doing nothing illegal.

really, those who have game bred pitbull in oz would never post on a forum and sell to anyone. they only sell to those they know/work them. and its done in private.. not hard to see the fake from the real doggers really.

and when it comes to selling, everyone all of a sudden is from ACT haha . u wana get a well bred dog , dont get it from him. and dont buy from peddlers. time will come u will meet genuine people who are in it for the breed, give u a pup for free or cheap provided u work it and know how to care for one..
