    I
I really like that idea of getting around game bred put specially before purchasing. The only problem with that is that I’m in Japan right now and I can’t find any damn dogs around here. I know they have them but they it’s not easy with the language and cultural barriers. Some guy outside my base walks a beautiful dog around and I’m just waiting to see him again so I can ask where he got it.

  2. @ben brockton And @ game dog corner.....you forgot holidays.
Not as if you can just decide to go abroad for two weeks and leave your neighbour to watch over them.
So holidays are another thing to cross of the list.
Or add to the list of restrictions.

Hell yeah then I would go for it. Get one really well bred dog from someone reputable and enjoy the hell out that animal. When you only have one that bond is special.

7 years ago but this post needs a response: Whether sometimes or all the times (I have owned 5 dogs, all raised indoors with love) and when these dogs go it is going to be a "completely psycho" experience to the un-initiated. Nothing fights like these dogs, it will be shocking for the newbie. Furthermore, chances are about 95% that your dog, if really bred out of proven game stick is going to "go". It might be at 6 months, it might be at 16. It will be out of the blue and it will be shocking.

Owning these dogs, even 1 (which is much, much easier to manage) is still a part time job. Owning 2 at a time is much more dicey as you must be 100% vigilant at keeping them apart. I had a mother and son and they still (albeit less oten) fought, and they fought hard. And lets say that none of my dogs were truly game, they were still 100% able to kill, pretty much any and every dog out there, including a huge German Shepard that wandered into my yard. My 55 lb female with severe neurological problem curred him in 20 seconds. Her son did $1500 in vet bills to a HUGE Rhodesian ridgeback that was off leash in 30 seconds (snd the owners stilll want me to pay the bill).

Based upon what you have said (yes 7 years ago) I would recommend another breed.
