A lot of old timers used this blood in theyre breeding programs. A lot of different families of dogs stemmed from this bloodline.
i know OF a few folks that work with this line of dogs, although i have never really seen any in the flesh that is significantly bred off of ol bullyson or any of his offspring themselves. and it seems you almost have to know somebody to get anything worth a shit nowadays, not really a "mainstream" bloodline per say. and if it is, then shit maybe i need to just get out the house lol.

im interested in not only seeing who works with this line of dogs but also how many different families of dogs stemmed from old bully himself. what different traits the different families tend to throw, and and over all rundown on what these dogs bring to the table (please use common sense before responding!)

the sites been dead lately so i just figured this should make for some good conversation.........feel free to post peds n pics!

  4. The best man to go to for this strain would be Bobby "Bullyson" Hall. The most purest of the Bullyson line was standing by his yard (I don't know if he still has dogs anymore) but the best dogs he was using was down off Cardenas GR CH Shorty ROM (Known as Ofugato in Mexico) and GR CH Shorty's son, Halls CH Shorty ROM. This is very good dogs and works well (clicks) when crossed over good Bolio dogs. The Bullyson line is very well known for delivering very powerfull, high wrestling ability dogs with huge mouth.

Yea bobby aint the only one that did the damn thing wit the blood though!

  6. One of the most famous dogs off of Bullyson of note that you guys had there in the USA would be Crenshaws CH Honeybunch (ROM), Bullyson was her sire, I think it was Crenshaw.

Yea im more interested in dogs from this century, maybe even some live ones lol

  8. If you want to look at the most recent ones you should look up GR CH Shorty and CH Shorty, I think its dogs down off them that is well known for being able to rock the boat. I know the Mexicans love these dogs.

I wish I could help..,, maybe this can....

Early 90s i had a dog from Morvants. This yard err strain was based off of Bullyson.
This dog earned his right to breed but was never bred. I have tried everything including posting here to get the info I needed to follow up etc with no luck.
I remember being told that they were nippy especially around strangers and he certain was.
That's all I know. I have limited resources and barely know how to use a computer. Hopefully there's resources out there that can help you. As mentioned above, try researching Morvants. I still have a physical pic of him let me know of you want to see but it will be a pic of a pIc.
    Good luck

Try researching Morvants. I am limited with what I know but that's where I would start.

  14. Cardenas GR CH Shorty was bred Boudreux Mo over Boudreux Rose 11, I will have to go scratch in amongst my papers to find Halls CH Shorty pedigree but I don't feel like doing that right now. As with most of the good gameing lines now days the great old dogs of the past have all been crossed out over other strains of dogs to make better dogs from which the people are working with, so to find someone who's working with the pure stuff would be rather difficult. Enrique Morfin and Cardena in Mexico got that stuff I know. Don't know if those guys are still alive though.

  15. I think the dogs that are most recent Bullyson/Eli dogs are the Maverick/Skull dogs.

Jesus Christ. An entire thread of people just talking to talk. Literally no information here. No expert but I'll share what bit I know after some sleep.

jerry C also tried to recreate Shorty with Moe/Rose breedings but the production just wasn't there. Halls Shorty dog was the same as Cardenas and he did many breedings with that dog when he had him on his yard. The stuff down from Rusty is really producing as well.

Bobby's nephew also has good blood and let's some of it out.

  18. Is Bobby Hall still alive? I think he would be just about the only guy where you would be able to get tight bred Bullyson dogs.

  19. The best bullyson dogs are nowhere near bobby hall
