Anyone have a copy that they didnt pay an arm and leg for?

 

yeah, i paid £40 for mine, thats about $65 US
the trick was to buy it when it was new

I bought mine years ago when it first came out I think it was 60-70 bucks I've seen it for sale for 500-600 bucks.

 

I myself have been trying to get my hands on it. When I see them the price is to high for me.

 

when Mr.Hall passes,,, I am sure the vultures will reprint it...

does anybody have the first and second edditions???
if so,,, how do they vary???

 

Only have the second been looking for the first one but they are hard to find and very expensive

 

I remember I almost bought dogs of velvet n steel for 980 bucks but thank god there was an issue with my computer and lost the auction. Then a year later Stevens printed his book with new info for 50 ish bucks it was soft cover but I'd take that and the 900 bucks I saved
