    I have seen a pic of Earl Tudors Star dog and it seems to have a bit of a roman head .

    When you mention the PittXBull Terriers in my eyes that is just a waste of time and oppertunity,and then again we really dont know what we have in some of the dogs being breed these days...

    Ah rooster,your right man,a read that somewhere today,and got my lines crossed. This has been a genuine mistake mate,ive been back over every link ive read today,and i never read it anywhere,thats worrying man cos i wouldve sworn i read it.Please please please please please please please accept my apology mate :confused:

    That was about APBT in America, nothing to do with the later UK scene. Yes also I think that the American Pit bull terrier has both Staffordshire bull terrier and English bull terrier in them. Sure why not ? Originally Staffordshire bull terrier and then not a small amount of English bull terrier blood as well (at a later date). Read Eugene Glass "the sporting bull terrier".

    Why wouldn't the APBT have any Staffordshire bull terrier in it ? However there is another thread going on about that at present.

    In the other threads I was talking about the Psycho line of Staffordshire bull terrier originally being started by crossing staffodshire bull terrier with English bullterrier. The dog was called Lance. But that was in the UK and about Irish Staffordshire bull terriers and not APBT in the USA

    We can barely go back 30 years to see how some lines are bred (in some but not all cases) and we're pondering about dogs over 250 years ago is funny.... Don't ya think??
