HAd a miss hap, my fault completely.. 1 bulldog & a 95 pound catahula hog dog.. Had been breeding the cat to several bitches & was loading up one morning at daylight to go bust some swine.. It was icy & freaking 10 degrees that morning... Ended I had to break the bulldog off my arm.. He turned from the other dog, caught one forearm (lft) shook & shook, I punched hard with right, he released eventually & grabbed right hand busting it to shit & released & grabbed left again & started shaking me to the ground, my then 12 year old ran up with my break stick & ..well.. anyway, I got him off & put away... I called the guy he came from only to find out that out of the 4 of 5 that lived, mine was the last living due to all man biters.... Anyway i learnt a ton that morning... It is no fun trying to wrangle a 3 yr old & a freaking out 12 yr old & a pack of dogs while leaking like a sieve with a broken hand & tore to shit arm.... Needless to say, I dont laugh anymore watching COPS when a guy gets caught by ol fido

  4. I had a female that got along great with males. Idk I like them both the docile ones that know when it's time to work and the crazy mofos that just don't know what brakes are.

After I bought my female home; she was 3 months old btw and my male 1 yrs. old, he smelled her, pee'd on her and made her his bitch and from that day on they've been fine together for the most part. Sometimes they'll have a disagreement over who gets their favorite chewing toy and things get bad.. Then I'll have to step in and separate them but after about an hour or so I'll bring them back together and they're fine again wagging tails and playing with each other. I solved the problem by buying another of the same toy and they haven't gotten into another disagreement over it since.

I've seen this once with a male and gyp who were raised together from pups. The gyp was a straight up roll dog that had more millage on her than a 40yr old hooker and a ROM POR producer.

That said, I've never owned a pair I'd trust to be around each other personally. Never really had the urge to try it honestly. I've always just kept one bitch house dog who earned her retirement. The rest of the yard was always an ever changing fluid situation. I wasnt trying to operate a doggy daycare. If one found its way into anothers spot, it never ended well in any of my experiences.

is this the blanket thread? lol
I agree with the above post about a good house bitch that earned her spot on the couch, I have kept a few older males in the house but always crate and rotate. back in the early 90s I kept a housebitch and 2 males inside. the female was allowed to roam free while I rotated the males . both males were never out with each other. one male was fight crazy didn't matter if it was 7 weeks/months/years the other was really forgiving with young pups. things were fine until she came into heat. LOL one would dodge bullets like the matrix and the other would put his head down and charge forward towards enemy lines.

One of the best and funniest relationships i seen was with an winning bitch and a stone cold bitch. That winning bitch would nail any other dog she seen it don't matter pups, elders anything wit fur but that cold bitch she accepted from day 1.. The craziest of all things was how they played. If you see them running through the house playing you would swear you had an all out war on your hands and thought that gyp was gone end that cold dog but nope they would be playing. I'll never forget about 6 or 7x i was there and seen them playing and would say to my buddy maybe that gyp aint' cold why don't u try her and again and again. She would stand there with her tail wagging and not making a sound, not attempting to do anything at all just there goofy and happy.. That gyp was a true cold one and her best friend was a true Champion.. They ran that house for about 11 years together and died 2 days apart.. First the cold gyp got cancer and passed and 2 days later that Champion who was in good health, passed away with no known causes.
