Neither one will have to get so much as a hair parted. This was a sarcastic response to some new boots claim about how his hound couldn't be stopped because he was triple-bred such and such. Somebody forgot to tell his hound that by the way.

All I think about when I hear cotton mouth is having a dry mouth from smoking.... so correct me if I am wrong.... is this saying meant to basically call a dog a soft biting cur? (I'm guessing that is what cotton mouth means in this sense?)
