I was there! Not the best seats but nevertheless, holy moly! It was astonishing to say the least. Crowd going nuts, no one in their seat, simply amazing. Awesome performance by Cain. Can't wait for JDS vs. Cain.

What a bunch of overhyped crap.

 

As I said before, you don't get to this level by being a one punch wonder. Both fighters did very well for the first 3 minutes or so.

Brock took Cain down twice, but Cain was able to get back up and pursue. Meanwhile, Brock also pursued Cain. Both showed heart at that time.

Cain took Lesnar down and Brock too was able to get back up a time or two. He too also pursued. Brocks problem isn't lack of heart. You can see that because even though he covers up, he WILL pursue someone once he gets up. His problem is doesn't know how to intelligently fight off his back or to fight in defense. He was bloodied up, but once the blood was wiped off you could see that resulted from only 1 big cut...probably resulting from several strikes to the same area, especially the knee.

His covering up is simply a matter of lacking experience. You can see that because once he gets out, he will go forward and even display a smile or a bit of cockiness with some "rockin and rollin" of the shoulders as if he is like, let's go. I like both fighers. I hope Brock is able to get enough Jiu Jitsu in the next year or two to improve his defensive fighting so we can see him back on top. I don't think he was "gassed either" he just lacks a well rounded defense so he does what he knows...which is pursue forward or cover up. I wish both fighters the best.

Cain fought a very good fight.When Brock took him down Cain could get up before Brock could do any damage.You could see Cain was a better striker and was a overall better fighter then Brock.Brock was lost in there,he just doesn't have the experience yet.Strength will only take you so far.Cain deserves the respect and Brock was classy in his lost.

 

Did anyone catch the prediction that Tim silva said about Brock back in 2007 that Brock would not make it far in mma cause he dose not like to get hit Brock Tim and some other guys saw this when he fist started that's way Brock left his first training camp cause he was like a premadona at that time so that way he jumped ships and left minasotta mma to make his own. Also this dude changes his mind like there is no tomorrow money talks he declined being in the u.s Olympics to go to wwe then left to presue a football carrier then came to mma there saying that the whole undertaker thing with him and Brock after the fight is a wwe thing that they want him and undertaker to fight at wrestle mania next year.

 

Brock is big,strong and fast. Thats about it. His MMA skills are very weak and it has shown in nearly every fight. He record is now 6w 2l and it should really be 6w 3l. Batting 500 in MMA is not very impressive. He needs to take a year off and just learn how to fight and make a come back. No doubt he could be great but if he loses one or two more in his next few fights his MMA life is done IMHO. With all that said it was a great performance by Mr. Velasquez!! He looked fantastic !! I wish that guy much success in the UFC and from the way he looked he will have plenty. I am so glad he gave Brock a beat down like that! Amazing

Brock Lesner fights like an amatuer. He will fight Mir again and be done if that. He will go back to pro wrestling. Brock fights scared and doesn't really want to be in there.

Brock is a coward. He is scared of getting hit and he quit when he realised he couldnt take cain down and keep him there. No questions about it. Also if you turn your back to your opponent and run you should consider another profession.

Fador would run through lesner with out trying and myself don't want to see Mir and Brock again but it will happen they should just do a carwin Brock 2 and I bet carwin will come in smarter this time around and beat Brock after that I think Brock would jump ship back to wrestling
