Somethings that still baffle me are statments like treadmills and flirt poles are for training dogs to fight...

I guess running shoes are evidence of a burglar under the same mind set.

Clearly dog fighters would want to condition fighting dogs but so don't show breeders and pet owners.

The UK is the center of all evil and human mistakes IMHO ;)

theres that much dog fighting in the uk at the moment, last month 26 pitbulls put down plus one litter, its so sad just because some idiots want to fight dogs :(

It really gets me how anyone with exercise equipment is a dogfighter.I guess it is so bad to give a dog a great diet, exercise and condition it and let it do what it wants to do.So cruel :rolleyes:What they didn't mention at the end of the video is regardless of the condition of the dogs, they're going to put them to sleep anyway.SPCA is really good about taking peoples dogs and killing them.

truth is the people that think its so bad need to stop looking for it

I dont see anything wrong with it personaly

and just like all the petitions going out to stop bsl

it can also be done to legalize the sport

hate me if you must but there is nothing like a game dog

    in temperment/health/loyalty and so on

why cant we just agree to disagree

I like it you dont so dont deal with me

is the way it should be

I say petition cause as long as its illegal
its gonna be the focal point to the witch hunt

I am not involved in any ilegal activity and do not promote any activity that falls under
    animal crulty.

    But damnit something gotta give

people cant be scared to express there thoughts
and every dog you own must be in top condition(no scars/all vacs up to date/good living conditions)

its worth a trie I belive

I am not involved in any ilegal activity and do not promote any activity that falls under
    animal crulty.

These people are sensation seeking ego boosting fools , who are not real dogmen and are shunned by real dogmen, they have learned to be this way from reading rspca lies and propaganda against our types of dogs, thus creating self fulfilling prophesies for the rspca, lets face it every documentary or article written on dog fighting by the rspca spouts cruelty as a method of training , what better way to attract cruel scum to the activity, lets face it if a psycho wants a dog he wants it to be the most dangerous he can find , so lets all thank the rspca lies for pointing out our breed.
in over twenty years i have never had a dangerous pit or stafford, and they are still thankfully rare.
these scum are not representative in any way of English dog men

The good news is that on this board we can agree to disagree, the bad news is that IRL, 99% of the world disagrees with 1%.

The sad thing is that as the 1% hide behind responcible owners, the responcible owners are impacted, thus creating the "Witch hunt" concept which in turn helps hide the 1%.

In reality, no more dog fighting would nearly destroy the BSL effort, the question is would it destroy the breed. Here is where we start to agree, but...

Next question is, do we agree that is something worth fighting a losing battle for? Will the BSL folks come to thier senses and start focusing thier attention on the owners/fighters and agree the breed on its own is not something that should be destroyed? Will continued dog fighting evently cause us to lose the BSL war, or are we hoping for a perpetual stale-mate?

Sounds like your hoping that it will just shutdown and decide to let you do your thing. I doubt that will ever happen...

Id like to dissagree with you but i dont think you are wrong.
tho over here it has more to do with rspca fund raising than animal welfare.
our bsl was brought about by a spate of attacks by so called pit bull types
    on humans ,
even tho the deaths at the time were in the jaws of rottwielers and not pitbulls, pitbulls took the knock ,
pitbulls had one of the lowest records of human bites , golden retrievers had the highest, pitbulls took the knock.
the rspca s first conviction for dog fighting was a match between a stafford and an english bull terrier,
the biggest money match of the 80s in british isles was between two irish staffords,
at the time of the ban there was an estimated 10.000 pitbulls in britain,
most were pets, only around a hundred people involved in matching dogs in the entire isles, a small minority.
now we are told of fights daily on council estates etc,
a couple of people have been killed by alleged pitbulls
    so what has bsl done,
other than make things worse, punish the deed not the breed.
    BAN STUPID PEOPLE NOT DOGS
