I seen that new American heavyweight (cant think of his name) that was a stand out linebacker in college football that may prove to be something of a challenge to the Russian brothers. He has only been boxing for a few years, but hits like a damn truck, and can take a punch as well. Maybe 6'2 250? He may be to short for the Russian brothers though. But he is picking up the boxing fundamentals very quick!

I'll have to check him out. Have not been in tune to this in a long time now. Hope someone does get rid of the brothers. Cannot stand either one.

I agree. Thought he was average. Had a glass jaw. Not the first quality that I look for in a Heavy weight. Why not put up the video of the first McCall fight. That was a good one.

He was undisputed Champion faced all.
To me the best hw in his era and maybe the best Ever.
He wasnt overrated to me he is underrated.
Lots of People dont give him the credit he deserves.
To me tyson is overrated.

I wouldn't say Lewis was overrated or underrated because of his era.He beat the best that faced him at his time and thats all I ask of a fighter.I think a lot of fighters would have beaten Lewis such as Louis, Marciano,Liston,Ali,Frazier,Foreman,Lyle,Shavers,Tyson of the 80's would have knocked Lewis out inside 3 rounds.Lewis would have to get by the early rounds,and once Lewis got by the early rounds he could outbox anybody.Now to be realistic to think Lewis could last with the top hvys I mention is impossible ,because a washed up Bruno hurt Lewis so bad he was out on his feet but like always Bruno was too tired to finish Lewis.Any of the top heavys would have knocked Lewis clear out of the ring because all of them could hit hard from the first to the last round.I can also say this Ike Baubuchi(not sure of spelling) would have knocked Lewis cold inside of 5 rounds.

Absolutely. Lewis would have been knocked out in the first round by Iron Mike in his prime. I don't know anyone that would even think Lewis could have lasted against that onslaught.

Lennox Lewis was an average fighter. That is not looking at life through Rose colored glasses. That is a accurate portrayal of watching him in his prime getting knocked out cold by a journey man fighter at best. Who, later on quit in the ring.

Lewis was one of the greatest.look
At his Legacy!
Now you can say a Prime tyson could win but he ducked Lewis.
Foreman Said he is the best of all Times.
Tyson Said to that Lewis is unbelieveable.
Lets say he was the best in his era what his legacy Show.
What could should Happen we will Never know only what did happen.
But i will Respect your opionions to me Lewis was clearly the best.
And by the Way he didnt had a Glass Chin .

Tyson didn't duck Lewis while in his prime he was in jail.Bowe ducked Lewis and that is a fact.Bowe agreed to fight the winner of Ruddock vs. Lewis, and when Lewis won Bowe refused to fight him and dumped his belt in the trash can .Lewis and his camp tried to fight Bowe but they refused several times.Look I liked Lewis I just think there was better fighters from the past that could have beaten him.I wouldn't rate Lewis among the best ever because of the competition he has faced wasn't in their prime.Now Lewis did beat some good fighters Tua for one and Ruddock, but Ruddock made his rep off losing to Tyson twice .Lewis will never be mention as one of the best for that reason.
