...ok..mmmm...the thing is we maybe don't like the way he came across with thing's with history concerning bulldogs/terrier's...but a lot of what he put up..(not his words) is a very important piece of pitdog history,,whiter we like it or not.....????????????

 

There's a member on here who's great grandfather was directly involved with Blue Pauls, wonder if he'll join the topic, got lots of first hand info from his family on them dogs.

What the hell happened here? I haven't been on for a few days. I only started a thread to see if anyone knew anything about blue Paul's. Then everyone has to fall out over APBT history.

I don't want to hit the guy when he's already down BUT,,,,75% of him seems like a nice enough guy but I stopped reading his posts along time ago.He ramble's on and on and on,,,,trying so hard to impress and be top dog.If he would only get right to the point and condense everything it would'nt be so boring.God forbid if you don't see things through his eye's he again goes on n on until he get's the last word.I don't like to see peeps get the bounce but I'm thinking this is a good thing for him to see and understand and really work on his social skills.I'm sure the PRICK will be back.....!

I am British, but I agree with this. I really believe that what a lot of guys here like to call old type Staffordshire bull terriers, Irish Staffordshire bull terrier, whatever are mainly imported American pit bull terriers, possibly crossed with English bull terriers and Staffords. The only good fighters recorded here were mainly staffy x ebt with no real game pedigree records like you'd get in the states. My boy is supposed to be a blue Irish Stafford - bullshit! I'd put money he's an APBT mix, maybe a mix bred to another mix going back as far as the early 90's when the restrictions come in. The Irish Staffordshire bull terrier wasn't something we'd heard of pre ban. They come across the pond, I even know guys who decided to change the names of there dogs from pitbull to Irish staffy to stop them being targeted by bsl and keep breeding. The old fighting dogs went to the states a long time ago and pretty much died out in their homeland, even before we were hit with bsl! I agree that the best dogs come from the states.

 

Also I don't want to come across like I know it all, I start threads cause I want to be more informed, although I now have started to think a lot of its bull, copied and pasted from somebody else's bull. So from now on I can only really trust things I have witnessed and draw my conclusions from that.
