It seems a bit strange to me, that I have never seen a brindle colored ADBA or AADR champion. Brindle being such a common color in the apbt you would think someone would have championed a brindle dog....maybe they have but I don't recall seeing one. The conformation correct red and chocolate dogs (Matthew, Bronson, Hekili, etc.) seem to do very well in the show ring.

Here is a black brindle Ch. although she is RIP since last year at age 14 she sure was something.

I've heard that it is because people don't like showing them as much since the muscle tone is harder to see . The darker brindle colorings act sort of like a camouflage. Whether or not that is "really" why I don't know.

I have a brindle gal who I hope to someday get an ADBA title on. LOL if I get my butt out to some more shows it would help. She has a few points.

Here is a recent pict of Bodacious:

I've seen pics of your dogs and I think Bodacious is beautiful. I'm looking to show my brindle boy, Boss in some ADBA and AADR shows. He got a 2nd place in the 4-6 month puppy class at a fun show a couple of months ago.
