Bennett Clayton died. I am not sure if it was yesteday or today.

    Weldon Stockton called me today and said Bennett Clayton had died. He was 67. Weldon didn't tell me the date but was going to send the Orituary when he got it. Bennett was a long time friend to Weldon and myself. He owned the Eli Jr. dog and bred lots of good dogs down out of him. If I hear more I will post it. Randy Fox

    R.I.P. Mr.Clayton. We were very fortunate to have him in attendance at the 2015 Heart of Texas Norman Hooten Memorial this year. Next year the Heart of Texas club's show will be the Bennett Clayton Memorial, in his honor!!!

    Never had a chance to meet the man behind the infamous Bullyson, Eli Jr. and Claytons Brendy litter, but after learning of his character I regret not doing so...
    Mr.Boudreaux spoke highly of him as a true friend a gentlemen in the game and deserves alot of respect for his dedication to thier Boze/Eli bloodline of bulldogs...
    ...If...Behind every great man is good woman, I bet thiers a great friend and Mr.Clayton played as a cataylist for that families success...
    THANK YOU MR.CLAYTON FOR YOU CONTRIBUTION TO GAMEDOG HISTORY AND REST IN PEACE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES AND FAVORITE BULLDOGS...
