it breaks my heart to see these fine animals being destroyed in any manner , if it would meen getting a licence or insurance on haveing one of these fine dogs then i would be glad to do so , its just these f**kin idiots who think owning a bull terrier kind of dog is a fashion accessary WRONG if you know these loveing dogs you would know the enjoyment , love , & challenges involved in haveing one .

 

its a shame these clueless charity workers single out these dogs,all strays should be put down within a week if thier owner doesnt claim them,that would help put a stop to these invasive corporate charities animal rights agenda.

 

i think these people if you can call them that should be put to sleep , to stop them harming any more innocent animals in the name of do gooding the scumbags:mad:

 

lets face it guys alot of these dogs are being dumped for not being aggressive enough, the knobh.eads who use them for protection have moved onto much bigger dogs like ambulls,akitas and all sorts of crosses,but that still doesn't mean thses dogs can be rehomed just because we have well balanced and socialised dogs doesnt mean thats what these dogs are the last thing the breed needs is any more bad press so if there is a chance of one of these abandoned dogs attacking a child well then ptts is probably for the best.

 

well said TAK as you know they have tried for years to get rid of the staff by branding it AGGRESIVE , VICIOUS ect & with these idiots wanting to use them as weapons well it cant get any worse , we have seen over the years of people wanting more vicious dogs ?? WHY . when you have got so called gangsters ,hoods , chavs who aint got a clue on these dogs owning them .

 

I believe that Staffordshire Bull terriers in all their shapes, colours and sizes have been deliberately demonised by the British media... They have also been mistreated and misrepresented by spineless fucko curs on housing estates all across the UK who use them like weapons to terrorise old ladies, other gang members and wee spaniels in the local park... Our dogs are being hunted to extinction and legislated against to the very brink of oblivion by arrogant coppers, corrupt politicians and self seeking bastard charities like the RSPCA and dog rescue centres like Battersea dog home... They hate our dogs, they are frightened by them, not because they're vicious, but because a good Bull terrier (just like a good man or woman) possesses the qualities of Honour, Freedom, Truth, loyalty and Courage... Qualities the working class demonstrated when they fought for their country in wars, qualities they demonstrated when they fought to keep their jobs during the miners strikes and qualities they demonstrated during the Poll tax riots... The establishment are well aware of the spirit and courage that exists within the character of the Staffordshire terrier, they fear it and they are determined to extinguish it, both in the dogs and in the people who admire them... The Sun/ Star/ News of the World/ Mirror... Shit arse rags that would on the one hand gladly advocate the genocide of the greatest/ most loyal breed of dog ever to grace the planet, while on the other they will lobby for the return of fox hunting so that rich bastards can participate in their sordid hobbies... rspca is a business and having cute furry animals is a great hook. but only a fool cant see past that. all these dogs being dumped is b/c council and housing authorities have put in rules that will not allow any dog that is deemed to be dangerous.

The middle class dont like staffs or their owners......pits are fcuked from the start! In the future if you want a game dog you will need to own your own house and cull most of the pups you have......dog ownership will be for the few not the many!

 

The majority of folks living in council, housing association properties are sick and tired of little scrotes keeping dogs that are used to intimidate others,this is why many councils etc have banned the keeping of dangerous dogs. The kids that have these dogs get fed up and bored with them,they are either sold on or given away or let out to roam.Council housing is afordable housing for those that cannot afford to buy, not to be used as kennels for breeding and keeping dogs that the youngsters want to keep as fashion statements. I dont want to see anyone from the very young to the very old be intimidated or feel they have to run the gauntlet past these dogs that at any moment could grab them. I'd like to see all dogs banned from council flats period,if you want to keep them in council houses then you should have proper kennels that are secure built in the back garden, if it is big enough. It should also be kept clean,with the councils making spot checks when ever they want to.Maybe this will help eradicate the little scrotes keeping any breed of dog that can be deemed dangerous. For the youngsters who keep dogs in flats then no ifs or buts have them evicted.
As for the middle classes not liking staffs or their owners you are way off the mark!!!! The dogs are not a class divide,over the years i have met many different good folks in the dogs from the not so well off to folks where money was no object,the one thing that is shared by all is a dislike of the youngsters who keep the dogs to enhance their macho image.

My only hope is that they do this test with every dog that comes in, somehow i doubt it....

Also im 21 and live on a council estate, i own my staff because a friend bought it and was too lazy to train it etc so i acted like a decent human being and took a mistreated dog out of a bad home, does that put me in the same category as the rest of the young lads with staffs? We all need to remember that not everyone who is young is using this breed for a fashion accessory just like not every older owner is responsible, iv met more 30 odd yr olds who encourage aggression then any other age groups, just my experiences.

 

The media and politicians think the world revolves around London...certain type a kids with certain dogs cause a problem in the smoke and they hammer lads from cornwall to scotland to wales for it...we bought our council house but back when we was tennents we never had one complaint about the dogs have moved on now but still drink up on the estate and have NEVER seen anyone use a Stafford to intimidate someone to me its another invention of the media...the papers crack on about how violent todays kids are mine are 18 and 20 and i just dont see it...back in the 80's we would regular spend a saturday at the football teatime in the pub night time at a punk/oi gig often a weekend filled with violence...todays youth didnt invent knife crime and violence its allways been there!...and nowadays its all about dogs as weapons/status symbals blah blah blah just sensational shit to fill papers...just like its allways been!...middle class media middle england types have allways been intimidated by the working classes...killing their much loved pets is just a little bit of power/revenge for them!....but your entitled to your opinion oldtymer...no matter how ignorant it sounds

Bulldog/terriers have always been working class.......until 1935 when the KC fcuked with it. I stand by my comments.....the rspca is a middle class outfit. They dont want chavs or their dogs near them or on holiday but have POPO and the law to back them up. The only time the rest of society gets a look in is if theres a war and we end up as cannon fodder!

But i belong to the underclass and aspire for my kids to become working class some day, gord blimey innit guv'ner

 

Where did i say STAFFORD ??? i did'nt , i said dangerous dogs as in generalisation. I'm working class myself !!! You go into any intercity today and you will see youngsters with their macho dogs ,you'll also see drug dealers,shoplifters,burgulars,gangs and various families all involved in crime. I agree back in the 80's the youngsters got hold of cheap pitbull pups that were bred any old way to make a few quid,the market place was flooded. Kids were bitten back then, dogs were set on the police and police dogs , family pets were killed all this was the reason that pitbull dogs were banned along with several other breeds. Guess who was first to sell out and many handed the dogs in for destruction, yes the youngsters who had no clue about the dogs they had and who should never of had the dogs in the first place. All they did then was change to the bigger breeds like Rotts, Akitas Ambulls etc. Now they have those dogs or mixed bull breeds etc. Look how many kids are still being bitten and have been killed by these tough macho dogs. There has to be a way forward to prevent more kids and adults being attacked,therefore there has to be some new law that prevents these dangerous dogs getting in the wrong hands. If my posts sounds ignorant to you then so be it. But these little scrote types make it look bad for all the genuine people who keep bull breeds.
