I sent in the papers from the breeders hands for one if my dogs and waited to get the papers back. After I did and had them for a while, I was on line looking deep and studying the breeding and found that the Dam had been registered as the Sires daughter instead of his sister. So I contacted the breeder and the registry and got it fixed. How many human errors are out their that don't get caught?!?! Papers are nice I guess but since this happened, they don't mean much 2 me.

Papers are just that papers. But anyone who is truely serious about these dogs wants them, so you know how the animal is bred and how to use them in your breeding program.I have seen great dogs of unkwn breedings many times, but I don't wanna waste time trying to figure out how to breed the hound to get consitant results, having or knowing your dogs breeding makes that easier. We all can agree having papers does'nt make a dog better but atleast we know how he/she is bred.JMO
