I see people that have thier own pics as thier avatars, how do I do that?

 

Yep, I'd like to know as well. Or is that what people have been talking about as their signature and using too big of pictures?

None us make a single dollar off the site. To be 100% honest, it costs Marty and Shon hundreds of dollars to keep the site open each month. The premium subscription goes into the sites account to cover the cost of the server, upkeep, and new programs.

 

we do this on our own time, out of the good ness of our hearts!

I got ya. I had no idea. I have a hard time getting on here and reading all I want, I could not imagine having to run the site as well. Everytime I do get on, it is working properly. I can't say that for many websites I have visited.

I hope none of you took it as a 'oh you're getting paid for it' or anything like that. I just wondered if it was to cover all of your time on here. Hopefully it did not offend any of you, if it did, I apoligize.

$20 seems like a small fee for all of the information I have learned on here and all the great help.

Game-dog has never been here to be profitable for myself. My main goal was always to educate the general public about the APBT. To dispell rumors and myths and open eyes to the truth about our breed. I always hoped the site would support itself through memberships, but often times I have had to pay the monthly payments myself. I have had to ask for members help at times when I could not afford the payment. For that I am sorry. As long as I can make the payment the site will always be here for everybody. I would like to encourage anybody who can afford to, please support the site through a paid membership. My goal is as always is to improve the site. The site belongs to all members but will always be moderated as I see fit. I will not allow threads/posts that will cause harm to our breed, the site, the members, or myself.

Just the same, I dont see any reason for you to be sorry.....
I think its a great thing that you are doing, and there is nothing wrong with helping support the cause. We are all here and play around on here almost everyday. As with anything else in this world, nothing is free. I think more members should show their their support not only for the breed, but their gratitude for you as well. After all, at anygiven day you could call it quits, because of $$ or lack thereof......then we would ALL BE OUT!
